I then cut it out with a New die to me from my stash from TLC Designs called the Daisy Frame Die. When I die-cut it I chose to have white space at the bottom for my sentiment. I stamped a Thank you sentiment from Unity Stamp Co. I added a yellow hemp twine bow and glued my panel to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how simple it was to make. Inspired by...Blog Challenge. Vintage Display #IB404

Hello everyone.  I'm excited for the New Inspired by...Blog. Vintage Display is our New Challenge #IB403 and I hope you join us again or give it a try if it's your first time. What I enjoy, is the fabulous Inspiration Photo, with colors, theme, and a card sketch. Perfect for inspiration. I have a video today Click here.

Let's Get Started:

Here is my take on the challenge. I loved the colors and things on the shelf like the mugs, apple, and gingham patterns. Look closely there is a lot in the photo. I almost made a coffee or tea card.

So I grabbed my solid paper pack with these colors red, pink, and mints. I also grabbed my paper pack 6x6 Authentique Fabulous. I then found My MonthlyHero July 2026 Let's Ride Die Set. It was time to use it and so I just switched up my colors to match. The Authentique pattern paper I used is the fun colors that match inspiration photo. I also used other colors of cardstock like black, cream, yellow, and white.

Instead of Lemons as this Let's Ride die set has lemons. I made them apples. I also used Pattern Paper from Not 2 Shabby Paper Pack Club for August. A Must have if you ask me. I used apple gingham paper from Apple Days and the red gingham from Orchard to Oven. I also used the Stamp of the Month subscription Orchard days another must have for the sentiment stamped with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink on white cardstock and cut to a fishtail strip. I used Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils where needed and I glued all together on a kraft A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I even glued a strip of paper in the inside of the card and may add a apple die-cut left over. Lastly, I used some vintage Glossy Accents. It's very old and left crackle finishes LOL which is okay.  I had so much fun making this card for this weeks challenge!!

I have a short video sharing my process. Click here

I hope you join us. New challenges start every Thursday!

Inspired by...Ice Cream Cones #IB403

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for the Inspired By Blog Challenge this week. Ice Cream Cones #IB403 is the theme and the colors and card sketch are so much fun.

Let's Get Started:

I was so excited to use this Ice Cream set I had ordered months ago from Scrapbook.com called Handful of Sweetness. I was inspired by the colors, theme, and Card sketch. Since this set I used doesn't have a cone per say it does have a cone die to add it to your ice cream scoop. So I cut out 5-6 of those on white cardstock and ink blended with Walnut Stain Distress ink. I cut out 3 scoops for the 3 colors on the Inspiration photo. I also cut out a cup and die-cut for the top of the cup All cut out with white cardstock. I ink blended the scoops with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink, Picked Raspberry Distress ink, and Salty Ocean Distress ink. The cup was ink blended with Antique Linen Distress ink. Lid die-cut was inked with Picked Raspberry Distress ink .

I used the coordinating Pattern Paper Pad Sugar Rush 4.25 x 5.5. It has solids too. So good. I cut 3 strips approx. 1/4 and a A2 pattern paper panel out. I glued everything to a A2 pink card base and cut out a scalloped circle from purple pattern paper using the Handful of Sweetness Die set. The "yum" word die was cut out with white cardstock. Sentiment was inked with VersaFine Clair Baby Pink ink using Sugar Rush Stamp and Dies set. I layered it on an extra die-cut. That finishes my card. I had so much fun making this card.

It's your turn how are you inspired?  Every Thursday starts a New Challenge.

I love this color of ink it reminds me of Sage which I love.  I then cut this background out with a Slimline die from Trinity Stamps called Dainty Scallop Edge Slimline Die.

I have these silver glittery Letter Thickers in my stash so I thought I would use them for this card. Sometimes Hugs are needed it makes your recipient feel good. Can be use for Sympathy cards too. I then added some Metallic Silver Card Bling also from A Colorful Life Designs. My background was glued to a 3 1/3 x 8 white side folding card base.  I hope you check out the New Release. I first grabbed a green A2 cardstock card base from Hero Arts. Next, I cut out some squares from Solid, pattern, and ink blended cardstock.  The ink blended cardstock is inked with Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus and Peeled Paint Distress ink. The stitched square die I used is from the Not 2 Shabby Shop EZ Wonder Die #3 Add On.

The EEK word and shadow die is from Whimsy Stamps and also the secondary pre-printed sentiment is from the Grunge Ghosts A2 Quick Card Fronts also from Whimsy Stamps. I cut out my sentiment from a Fishtail banner die from MFT Stamps. The cute Halloween stickers Mini Icons are from Booville by Doodlebug Design. All was glued to my card base. So much fun.

I also inked the edges of the paper as it showed white and I wanted it all brown. I glued them to a cream colored A2 card base at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Friends of Unity August 2026 Blog Hop

Hello everyone. Happy August. Yay I'm so excited we are hopping today for the Friends Of Unity August 2026 Blog Hop. Our Cue this month is Grunge. So much fun!

Let's Get Started:

On my first card, I had fun using Lindy's Magicals for my background with Mixed Media Arches 140 pounds cardstock. I cut a panel about 6x6. I used sprays like UFO yellow, Blushing Polar Bear, and Blazing sun shimmer. I also used Bling-y Blonde Magical Powder that I used with water. I also used Ranger Acrylic Paint in Night from Dina Wakley that I used with a paint brush and a little water. When dried my background was cut to A2 size 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

This cute robot stamp is from Heart Mode:Activated. I stamped him with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with my Copic Markers Y08, C4, N3, W5, R20, V000. I then fussy cut it out.  I used Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to ink around my background to make it more grungy. My sentiment was stamped on a tag from Unity as well as the string is from Unity. I stapled my string to my tag with my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.I glued all to a A2 gray card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and used some Ranger black liquid pearls.

On my second card, I also used some sprays from Lindys Gang in Starburst, Ice Burg Azure, Martian Magenta, and Brushed Nickel on Arches Mixed Media Paper 140 lbs. I had fun spraying my cardstock in my spray box. I really wanted to used the Paper Apothecary background stamp from the KOM June 2026. I embossed this background stamp with Zing Mustard Embossing Powder. I think it looks pretty on that Lindy's Magical background.

I stamped and heat embossed the One Of The Good Ones Stamp set and I thought I was using Versamark with white embossing powder but no it was clear embossing powder. I still wanted to use it as it looked great I thought for a grungy card. What are the white dots? I have no idea LOL. I did tear my paper and added black torn paper that is a soft specialty cardstock. I also had another strip of my background so I glued all together onto a A2 black card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I added a sentiment from the same stamp and this time with white embossing powder and Versamark. I fussy cut my sentiment and added it to my card. I love all 3 embossings on this card.

Now my last card, I used KOM July 2026. I just love these chickens and I love Halloween. This stamp is called The Coop is Haunted. I stamped this image with Memento Tuxedo ink on Neenah Solar white cardstock 110 pounds. I also used masking paper from Inkadinkado and stamped and cut the mask out to place on my image. I then began to ink blend with Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I took the lid off of Picket Fence Spray and flicked my inked masked background which gave me white drops. I also sprayed with Mica spray Stain in Winter Frost and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide spray.

When my background was dry, I colored my chickens with Altenew alcohol markers. I colored the ground and sprayed the bottom of my background with Distress Spray Stain in Forest Moss. I also flicked some more Picked Fence Distress Spray Stain towards the bottom to match the top of my background.  Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the KOM on white cardstock with Versafine Onyx ink. I think it's a funny sentiment. I fussy cut it and applied it with 2 pieces of scrap paper for dimension instead of foam tape. My background was cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and glued to a A2 card base.

I had so much fun making these cards. I hope I succeeded a little using the cue!

Now let's see how my Friends used the Cue:
