Inspired By...Rolling Pins #IB405

Hello everyone. We have a New Challenge over at the Inspired by...Blog. The theme is Rolling Pins #IB405. I'm excited I have a video for you on my channel

Let's Get Started:

Well I was inspired by the Rolling Pins, Colors, and Card Sketch. I chose these cute images from Lawn Fawn A Creature Was Stirring. Not sure I used this set before but it's really cute. It did not have a rolling pin though so I got that image from Hero Arts What's Cookin? I stamped all my images using my stamping Platform and Memento Tuxedo Black Dew Drop ink. I colored with my OLO markers to color and I will have those colors on my video if interested. Then fussy cut my images using my scissors.

I then cut my white cardstock panel to 4 x 5 1/4. I used Lawn Fawn's Large Mini Slimline Stackables dies for the columns according to the card sketch. I cut 2 of those out with my die-cutting machine. I ink blended using inks Altenew Frayed Leaf ink cube and Pinkfresh Studio Warm Buff ink cube. I felt like the pink was used on my images even if it is more pink than the photo. I glued all to a A2 gray card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Sentiment strip is from my stash.
I had so much fun making this card now it's your turn to make a card.

How are you inspired? Watch my video here.

Inspired by...Blog Challenge. Vintage Display #IB404

Hello everyone.  I'm excited for the New Inspired by...Blog. Vintage Display is our New Challenge #IB403 and I hope you join us again or give it a try if it's your first time. What I enjoy, is the fabulous Inspiration Photo, with colors, theme, and a card sketch. Perfect for inspiration. I have a video today Click here.

Let's Get Started:

Here is my take on the challenge. I loved the colors and things on the shelf like the mugs, apple, and gingham patterns. Look closely there is a lot in the photo. I almost made a coffee or tea card.

So I grabbed my solid paper pack with these colors red, pink, and mints. I also grabbed my paper pack 6x6 Authentique Fabulous. I then found My MonthlyHero July 2026 Let's Ride Die Set. It was time to use it and so I just switched up my colors to match. The Authentique pattern paper I used is the fun colors that match inspiration photo. I also used other colors of cardstock like black, cream, yellow, and white.

Instead of Lemons as this Let's Ride die set has lemons. I made them apples. I also used Pattern Paper from Not 2 Shabby Paper Pack Club for August. A Must have if you ask me. I used apple gingham paper from Apple Days and the red gingham from Orchard to Oven. I also used the Stamp of the Month subscription Orchard days another must have for the sentiment stamped with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink on white cardstock and cut to a fishtail strip. I used Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils where needed and I glued all together on a kraft A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I even glued a strip of paper in the inside of the card and may add a apple die-cut left over. Lastly, I used some vintage Glossy Accents. It's very old and left crackle finishes LOL which is okay.  I had so much fun making this card for this weeks challenge!!

I have a short video sharing my process. Click here

I hope you join us. New challenges start every Thursday!

Inspired By...Seashells #IB401

Hello everyone. Happy Thursday. We have a New challenge starting today and ends next Wednesday for Inspired by...The theme this week is Sea Shells. And of course there is color inspiration and a card sketch.  How are you inspired? Join us and make a card.

Let's Get Started:

I was inspired by the Seashells theme colors, and card sketch. I used Hero Arts Seashells fancy Dies that I die-cut from white cardstock. I used Pinkfresh Studio ink in Warm Buff and Doe. I also used Simon Says Stamp Latte ink to ink some color onto my shells.

I cut some brown woodgrain pattern paper from Lawn Fawn,  4 rectangles like the card sketch I know it's hard to see in photo. I also inked the edges of the paper as it showed white and I wanted it all brown. I glued them to a cream colored A2 card base at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Next, I stamped a sentiment in Simon Says Stamp Artichoke ink from Hero Arts In A Pinch stamp set. I fussy cut out the sentiment. All was glued with liquid glue. I had fun making this card.

Now it's your turn!
Make a card using theme, colors, card sketch, whatever inspired you from the inspiration photo.
Ne Challenge starts every Thursday!

Inspired By...Kitchen Display

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for our New Challenge over on the Inspired By Blog #IB390.  The theme this week is Kitchen Display and there is Color Inspiration and A New Card Sketch.  Don't forget to tag inspired_by_challenge on the socials. #inspiredbychallenges

Let's Get Started:

I was inspired by the Kitchen Display Theme, Card Sketch, and Colors.  I used a New to me stamp that was wanting to get used from Hero Arts. I have had this die for a while now, so glad to use it. This stamp and cut is called What's Cookin?  I stamped my images onto white cardstock and stamped them with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I colored my images with my Copic Markers.  I tried to focus and just use colors shown on the inspiration photo but I had to use orange on the cheese.  I then used the dies to cut everything out for me except for the sentiment I stamped that and cut it with my paper trimmer.

I found some Lawn Fawn woodgrain pattern paper in my stash, so I cut it according to the card sketch.  The die set from the What's Cookin? has a die to have the mouse hold things so I loved glueing the apron and adding a big cuppa coffee in its hands.  I used my white gel pen for eyes on my mouse and everything was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I love how this card came out.

Now it's your turn!

Simply add your card to the Ininkz Party that's at the bottom of the first day of the challenge.  You can choose the theme or card sketch or both.  Have fun!!!

Another Card Using Adjoining Moons Stencil From A Colorful Life Designs

Hello everyone.  I have another card using the Adjoining Moons Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs New Release.  Use VonFan10 to save.  Also we have Master Creator Bundles no code needed and a Mid Month Motivation Stencil on Sale for $4.

Without further ado here is my card...

I love this stencil Adjoining Moons 6x6 Stencil.  It has 2 moons and 2 stars.  I didn't capture the stars on my last card so therefore another good reason to use this great stencil again for another card. On blue cardstock 110 pounds, I ink blended the moons with Hero Arts Shadow ink in Soft Pool. I ink blended the stars with hero Arts Butter Bar ink cube.  I then put the masks over my moons and stars included in the stencil.  I ink blended around my stars and moons with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink.

I then cut my background with a A2 stitched rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness Fall Frame die set.  My sentiment was stamped on white cardstock from a older MFT Stamp set called Sky High Friends using black ink and then I cut it to be a fishtail banner. I also stamped a bunny image with Memento tuxedo ink and colored it in with my Copic Markers.  I  then fussy cut it out.  I glued my background to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I popped up my bunny image and sentiment with foam tape. I then added some card bling from A Colorful Life Designs in Opaque Iridescent Lemon Yellow.  I love how this sweet card turned out.  I hope you grab it and don't forget my code up above.

You Make The World Go Round

Hello everyone.  I have my last card sample for A Colorful Life Designs August Release.  I cannot wait to share September's release.  You are going to love it.  Use VonFan10 to save at checkout.  Master Creator Bundles no code Needed.  Without further ado here is my card.

On this card I used The New Mid Century Star Balls 6x6 Stencil.  It is so pretty and reminded me of the Fair.  I think it's also great for a Independence day Card.  What would you use it for?  On Hammermill cardstock 100 pounds I used Concord & 9th inks in Cranberry, Midnight, and Stardust inks.  I cut my background to be 4 x 5 1/4.  I think this background has a Vintage feel.

Next, I stamped a carousel from hero Arts Ornate Carousel Stamp with Memento ink. This is a older stamp from a Monthly My Hero Kit.  I colored the carousel in with my Copic and OLO markers.  I fussy cut it out.  I also stamped a sentiment from the same stamp.  I attached my background panel to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 with a craft foam sheet smaller than my panel.  I popped up my carousel with foam tape and glued my sentiment with liquid glue.  I embellished with some pretty blue card bling.  I love how it came out.  You can check out the New Release here.  I will be back with September's Release real soon. Crafty Hugs 💗

So Blessed We Are Inky Friends

Hello everyone.  I have a card to share using A Colorful Life Designs Newest Release.  Do you love stencils? They are so much fun to work with and I just love them.  Don't forget to use VonFan10 at checkout.  Master Creator Bundles no code needed as those are already marked down.  Without further ado here is my card.

On my card I used the New Mid Century Banners Stencil 6x6.  I love this design.  This stencil reminds me of trees too and you can use it for Christmas and add ornaments or keep it simple. You can add little messages in the banners.  That is a couple of ideas I'm sure there is a lot more.  I chose to keep my card simple.  I used white cardstock and I ink blended in inks Catherine Pooler SeaFoam, Catherine Pooler Polished, Catherine Pooler Shea Butter, and Catherine Pooler Stone Blue in the Minis.

I used a stited rectangle die from LDRS and cut my background out.  Since I had leftover stenciled paper I cut a border for the inside of my card.

I stamped my sentiment from Hero Arts Stamped Just For You Stamp with black ink.  I then glued my rectangle to a A2 Card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I added some Silver Metallic Card Bling and that finishes this card.  I had so much fun with this card.  I hope you check out the New Release here.
