Inspired by...Summer IB399

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to tell you all about the New challenge at Inspired by...Blog. The theme this week is Summer #IB399 and the colors and card sketch is oh so fun!

Let's get started:

I was inspired by the theme Summer, Summer Tote, and the Colors!!! I used stencils (2)from Papertrey Ink called Beach Bag.  I used white cardstock with Pinkfresh Studio Ocean Breeze Ink Cube, Gina K Designs Sweet Corn ink cube, and Simon Says Stamp Latte.

I cut my background at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I ink blended a triangle die-cut one that I cut with my scissors. I folded the corner of my card and glued everything to a A2 card base tucking the triangle onto my card base before laying my panel down.

Sentiments were stamped with Lawn Fawn Hippo ink using a Sizzix Stamp Daily Sentiments #2 and Pink & Main Stay Cool Stamp. I used the coording dies to layer 3 times from the Pink & Main stamp. Lastly, I added this cute Turtle Ephemera from Sweet & Playful Turtles by Not 2 Shabby Shop.

Now it's your turn.  How are you inspired? Link your card to the Thursday Post on the Inspired By..Blog

Inspired By Hydrangeas #IB397

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for this weeks challenge on the Inspired By...Hydrangeas IB397. We have a card sketch and fun colors too.

Let's Get Started:

I was inspired by the theme Hydrangeas, Card Sketch and Colors. I went with stickers for the this card as I couldn't find any Hydrangeas stamps in my stash...I know! I need to change them as they are very pretty.
I used a stencil set from A Colorful Life Designs Marvelous Masks Rectangles in the 2' and 3 ' rectangle stencils. I flipped  the stencil and ink blended on white cardstock using Catherine Pooler Sage ink and Simon Says Stamp Steel Blue ink.

My panel was cut to 4 x 5 1/4. I've had these stickers from Mrs Grossman called Hydrangea stems for a long time in my stash and used all of them all on this card.  Sentiment is from the New My Monthly Hero July 2026 stamp called When Life Gives You Lemons.  I used the coordinating die after stamping with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I used the coordinating die to die-cut 2 more times to give my sentiment dimension. My panel was glue to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Inside of the card is a Hydrangea small petal and leaf. I had so much fun with this card.

It's your Turn Now!

Hello everyone.  We have a New Inspired By... #IB395 Challenge on the blog today.  The theme this week is Cookies and A New Card Sketch and Inspiration Colors.  Have fun you have less than a week.

Let's Get Started:

I was inspired by the colors, Sea Theme, and Card Sketch. I first started ink blending my white cardstock with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink, Catherine Pooler All That Jazz ink, and Concord & 9th Sea Glass ink for the blue inks on my card. I ink blended Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink for my brown ink blending on my pattern paper and on my squares. I cut my squares and rectangles using my scraps looking at the card sketch so fun.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed my Sea horse, Jellyfish, and air bubbles using Lawn Fawn and Forever in Time stamp sets with Versamark and White embossing powder. I embossed the Whimsy Stamps Ocean Stencil for the fish. I then cut out a starfish and shell from Emily Moore Designs Charm Set Sizzling Summer with white cardstock.  Pattern Paper and word sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I had so much making this card.

Inspired By...Birdies

Hello everyone.  We have a New Challenge over at the Inspired by...Blog.  This week it's Birdies #IB394 and a New Card Sketch. You have almost a week to get your card submitted.

Let's Get Started:

I was so inspired by the colors, birdies, and card sketch. I almost painted some rocks and drew faces like the inspiration photo but I went simpler.  I seen this birdie stamp set in my stash from CC Designs called Cute Birds Stamp and Dies. I stamped 1 image with Memento Tuxedo ink on white cardstock as 2 were stamped and die-cut already. I colored with my alcohol markers similar to the inspiration photo. Next, I cut out the bird with the coordinating die.

I had a MFT Die set called Hanging Branch, which was perfect. I cut out the branches with brown cardstock and the leaves with heavyweight green glitter cardstock. I cut out a white panel 4 x 5 1/4 and glued everything with liquid glue. I carefully stamped my sentiment with Tuxedo black ink and my stamping platform using the CC Designs stamp set. I then layered my white panel on a blue 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cardstock and glued to a brown A2 card base. Lastly, I used a white gel pen for the birds eyes and added some glossy accents to the birds glasses and to all the birds eyes. I love how this card came out.

I hope you join us!

How are you inspired? add your card to the challenge Thursday's Blog and share in our FB group too.

Inspired By...Donuts

Hello everyone. I have a card today for the New Inspired by...Challenge #IB393.  This weeks theme is Donuts. So fun right? I love the inspiration photo and Card Sketch.

Let's Get Started:

I was inspired by the theme Donuts, Colors, and Card sketch. I first used a 6x9 stencil called Wild Rings Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and ink blended it on a A2 panel white cardstock. I used inks Catherine Pooler Sugared Lavender, Hero Arts Peony, and Hero Arts Creamsicle. This stencil design reminds me of donuts.  Next, I stamped 3 donut images from Doodlebug Design Treat Yourself stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored with my copic markers using colors that would match the Inspiration photo. I used the coordinating die to cut the donuts out and then cut 3 squares of purple cardstock 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 in size.

I glued all to a A2 top folding card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink on white cardstock and fussy cut it out. I adhered it with foam tape and then added some flower enamel embellishments and that finishes me card.

Now it's your turn!

Hello everyone.  Today starts a New challenge for the Inspired By Blog #IB392. The theme this week is Daisies. And a New card sketch with inspiration colors. So fun!!! This challenge runs for almost a week. Every Thursday starts a New Challenge.

Let's Get Started:

Can you tell how I was Inspired?  I love the theme, colors, and card sketch.  I really love this weeks challenge. I feel like this is a great card to mass produce.

I took a piece of of white cardstock and used Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and rubbed my ink pad down my white panel. I love the streaks. I then used Fired Brick Distress Oxide ink, Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink, and Catherine Pooler Sauna ink and did the same ink. I then grabbed my blending brushes and inked over those areas.

Next, I grabbed my Layer It Daisy Die from Taylored Expressions.  I cut all 3 dies out with white cardstock. I inked the center with CP Sauna ink. I used a flower die from my stash and used the stem that was cut out with white cardstock, and inked it with Spruce ink from Catherine Pooler.

My background was cut to 4 x 5 1/4. I glued everything to a Gray A2 top folding cardbase 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I stamped a sentiment from Concord & 9th with black ink onto my card.  I used a black pen sharpie and  inked my sentiment where ist didn't stamp properly and that finishes this card.

Inspired By...Vases And A New Card Sketch!

Hello everyone.  Happy May, we have a New Challenge for Inspired by...Blog #IB387 and this week it's Vases and a New fun card sketch.

Let's Get started:

I was inspired by the vases and colors.  I even was inspired by the card sketch. I started out with some flowers, flower centers, and stems dies from My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts February 2026.  I used pink, and green cardstock from my stash.  I ink blended the greenery with some Hero Arts Ombre' Lime to Forever Green ink. I used a small blending brush to get a little darker green ink on my green stems and flower centers as I was trying to match the inspiration photo. I also ink blended my pink cardstock flowers with Hero Arts Azalea ink.

I used a Vase die from Spellbinders advent callendar that I cut out with pink cardstock and white cardstock.  On my white vase I doodled a little using a green Attenew marker I drew lines and colored a strip on top kinda like the vase in photo. I then cut it with my scissors and glued it to my pink vase. Next, I cut out dark blue cardstock and a white strip of white cardstock.  I glued everything to a green A2 top folding card base. I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock with Hero Hues Moss Green ink using my Monthly Hero stamp set and used the coordinating die to cut it out and a few extras to glue for dimension. I love how clean this card looks. I had fun with this challenge.

Inspired by...Clothes Pins And New Card Sketch

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for this weeks challenge at Inspired by...Blog #IB386. This weeks theme is Clothes Pins and There is a New Card Sketch too. I hope you join us it's so much fun to see what you make.

I do own some clothes pins but where they are? I can't remember where I have them in my craft room LOL. Oh well the show must go on!  So, anywhoo I was inspired by the blue, pink, greens, and reds in the inspiration photo as well as the roses. I couldn't think of a small roses stencil in my stash but I did have this MFT Stencil Spring Flowers. You know I love to stencil. On blue cardstock 85 lbs. I used Catherine Poolers Minis inks in Rose Petals, Sea Foam, and Stone Blue.  My rose petals ink looks purple but my intentions were pink LOL. Next, I cut my stenciled background to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I used some ephemera from an Tim Holtz Idea-logy Pack called Palette. Lots of pretties memorabilia in that pack.  I grabbed these roses, and a lacy ephemera strip. The sentiment is from a  digital EZ Cardmaking kit by LV Handcrafted called Smiling Florals. You can Use VONMARIEDESIGN to save. I also cut my sentiment strip with a Universal sentiments die available at Not 2 Shabby Shop.  Everything was glued to a A2 top folding card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  That finishes my card I had so much fun making it.
I bet I'll find those clothes pins I was looking for.

Hello everyone.  We have a New Inspired by...Challenge #IB385 and this week it's April Showers May Flowers.  So fun and a New card Sketch. I hope you join us! You have about 1 week.

Let's Get Started:

Here's how I was inspired: I love the colors, Umbrella theme, and card sketch.

I chose to use a  C.C. Designs stamp called Umbrella Swissie it's a retired stamp, but is one of my favorites. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock 110 pounds.  I colored her with Copic markers and OLO Markers. I then fussy cut her out. I also cut out some pattern paper from Lawn Fawn that looked like rain to me.  I cut it like the card sketch.

I stamped a sentiment from Technique Junkies Rain sentiments stamp set over my pattern paper with Versafine Onyx ink.  I glued my sentiment and girl to a A2 card panel 4 x 4/4 x 5 1/2 an then to a white top folding matching card base.  I used a gray marker to draw ground for my girl and used a white gel pen for some white pen accents.  I love my card I think its clean and simple.  I like this card sketch for CAS.

Inspired By...Balloons And A New Card Sketch

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for this weeks challenge at Inspired by...as usual they are all so fun. I love this week Balloons they are just so Happy and this weeks card sketch...I love it.

Okay let's get started:

Well I was inspired by the Balloons, Colors, and Card Sketch.  I made this really easy card It felt like it  took me 10 mins lol.  It's so cute too.  I used Not 2 Shabby Shop for the Make A Wish Paper Pack and Make A Wish Ephemera.  I Tried to mimic the sketch so I cut out a piece of pattern paper and I had a stitched piece already ready for me from a previous project. The inspiration photo has purple in it so, I cut some purple cardstock.

I love that there was a sentiment in the ephemera pack too.  So easy love it.  I glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how this card came it.  I love Bunnies.

Inspired by...Cocoa Cafe And A New Card Sketch

Hello everyone I’m so excited for this weeks challenge Inspired by...Cocoa Cafe #IB383.  I love Cocoa...These Colors and Card Sketch too.

Let’s get started:

Well I think you know already how I was inspired so let’s get to my project.

I chose to use this really cute stamp set that was a special one time at Not 2 Shabby Shop called Critter Cafe. It's a Fall set but looks like an everyday set I think. I'm using it today for Cocoa even though it's for coffee. So, I stamped out the tree, hedgehog, and fox, with Memento Tuxedo ink on white cardstock and colored them in with my copic markers to match kinda the Inspiration photo. I then fussy cut on the line and used a dark gray marker to clean up my fussy cut imperfect lines.

I used a sentiment from Not 2 Shabby shop called Merry Mail that I believe was a stamp of the month last year. The subscriptions are so good. I highly recommend checking them out. I only wanted the Hot Cocoa part of the scalloped oval stamp, I masked with tape and it was pretty easy to just stamp that part of the stamp. I also stamped another sentiment from Sugar Pea Designs called Mug's & Kisses this is that set that is perfect to use if you have it. I cut my sentiments,  I cut some green paper and gingham paper an glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I also tried to keep all on one side to try and mimic the sketch.  I think it's cute.
