Inspired By...Blog Challenge Maps #IB406

Hello everyone. I'm so excited for the Inspired by...Blog Challenge. The theme is Maps #IB406 with a fun card sketch and colors. Let's Get Started:

Here's how I was inspired:

I was inspired by the theme Maps and later I was inspired by the colors. I had these printed papers, sentiments strips, and images from LVhandcrafted's Digital EZ Cardmaking Kit Making Memories already printed also Use VONMARIEDESIGN to save. They are very easy to print out. My printed paper EZ1 Making Memories Easy Guide was cut out with the EZ Wonder Die #1 from the Not 2 Shabby Shop as well as The Ultimate Sentiments Universal die. My paper for the background was diagonal and already cut to fit my A2 card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so I made a pocket. I love making pockets.

I had fun tucking everything into the pocket. Of course this would be perfect for someone traveling. You could even stick a letter inside or perhaps a tea packet. Everything was glued to a A2 card base I only glued the sides of my paper so that I could tuck things in there. I had fun with this card it was easy and I think meaningful.

Now it's your turn! Can't wait to see your cards.

Friends of Unity September 2026 Blog Hop

Hello everyone. I'm so excited for our Friends of Unity Blog Hop for September 2026. The cue this month is Anything But A Card. So much fun!

 Let's Get Started:

On my first project here I have a Bookmark. I used watercolor paper Canson Cold pressed 140 lbs. I used this fun cocktail stamp from KOM called Boozie and Bougie that I stamped one of the drinks with Archival Watercolor ink. I used some New Lindy's Gang Magicals Halloween to paint my cocktail. So much fun. I added a few layers of powder and water using a paint brush. I love painting with these powders. I stamped a sentiment also from the set. I flicked some paint splatters for fun. Maybe it will be a Birthday Bookmark from My Mother-in-Law.

I felt fancy so I grabbed my Crop-A-Dile tool from We R Memory Keepers (We R Makers)and used a large eyelet. I then used some shabby Chic ribbon from my stash and that finishes this project.

Next, I have a Candy Bar Holder. I used the Creepy Peekies Stamp set. I love candy bars especially chocolate with almonds. So this candy bar holder measures 2 5/8 x 5 7/8 closed and open about 5 1/4 x 5 7/8 and scored at approx. 2 5/8. I love this cute bat. I used a white rectangle die-cut for my bat to be stamped onto with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with alcohol markers. I did ink blend around my bat probably with Black Soot Distress ink.

Inside of Candy Bar Holder I cut some matching cardstock for a strip and placed candy bar in it and then glued strip pinching the sides so my candy bar stayed in tact. I ahve orange hemp twine to tie my candy bar holder to stay closed.

Lastly, I found my older Kate Spade planner and then I realized I had planner dies in my stash to make a planner insert. So now that's my next obsession to add planner layouts and inserts.  This Beautiful Background has been begging me to use it. It's from May 2026 BOM Open Skies

I colored with my alcohol markers and Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Sentiment stamped from the stamp set  with blue ink and I used a sentiment from Unity Stamp Co. for the file tab. I love how it looks in my planner.  I had so much fun creating these projects!!!

Let's see what my friends came up with for the challenge: Next up is Jenni

Thank you so much!

Inspired By...Rolling Pins #IB405

Hello everyone. We have a New Challenge over at the Inspired by...Blog. The theme is Rolling Pins #IB405. I'm excited I have a video for you on my channel

Let's Get Started:

Well I was inspired by the Rolling Pins, Colors, and Card Sketch. I chose these cute images from Lawn Fawn A Creature Was Stirring. Not sure I used this set before but it's really cute. It did not have a rolling pin though so I got that image from Hero Arts What's Cookin? I stamped all my images using my stamping Platform and Memento Tuxedo Black Dew Drop ink. I colored with my OLO markers to color and I will have those colors on my video if interested. Then fussy cut my images using my scissors.

I then cut my white cardstock panel to 4 x 5 1/4. I used Lawn Fawn's Large Mini Slimline Stackables dies for the columns according to the card sketch. I cut 2 of those out with my die-cutting machine. I ink blended using inks Altenew Frayed Leaf ink cube and Pinkfresh Studio Warm Buff ink cube. I felt like the pink was used on my images even if it is more pink than the photo. I glued all to a A2 gray card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Sentiment strip is from my stash.
I had so much fun making this card now it's your turn to make a card.

How are you inspired? Watch my video here.

{BYSHC} New Card Sketch 73 For September 2026

Hello everyone. Happy September.  I have a New card for {BYSHC} Card Sketch 73 Unity Stamp Co. Is our sponsor this month for September yay.

Let's Get Started:

Since Unity Stamp Co. is our sponsor this month, I used the clear mini stamp called Just For You Dear. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo ink and colored simply with my copic markers and colored pencils. I then fussy cut out my deer.

During the last Christmas Linky Party I believe in July, I was gifted these pattern papers from Crystal so I had to use them for this card and card sketch 73. I cut my pattern papers according to the sketch. I used a tag banner punch for the fishtail piece. I glued all to a green A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I added a sentiment strip from my stash and that's it for this card. I love how it came out.

I hope you join us! You have all month to add your card to the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers FB Group!

Inspired by...Blog Challenge. Vintage Display #IB404

Hello everyone.  I'm excited for the New Inspired by...Blog. Vintage Display is our New Challenge #IB403 and I hope you join us again or give it a try if it's your first time. What I enjoy, is the fabulous Inspiration Photo, with colors, theme, and a card sketch. Perfect for inspiration. I have a video today Click here.

Let's Get Started:

Here is my take on the challenge. I loved the colors and things on the shelf like the mugs, apple, and gingham patterns. Look closely there is a lot in the photo. I almost made a coffee or tea card.

So I grabbed my solid paper pack with these colors red, pink, and mints. I also grabbed my paper pack 6x6 Authentique Fabulous. I then found My MonthlyHero July 2026 Let's Ride Die Set. It was time to use it and so I just switched up my colors to match. The Authentique pattern paper I used is the fun colors that match inspiration photo. I also used other colors of cardstock like black, cream, yellow, and white.

Instead of Lemons as this Let's Ride die set has lemons. I made them apples. I also used Pattern Paper from Not 2 Shabby Paper Pack Club for August. A Must have if you ask me. I used apple gingham paper from Apple Days and the red gingham from Orchard to Oven. I also used the Stamp of the Month subscription Orchard days another must have for the sentiment stamped with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink on white cardstock and cut to a fishtail strip. I used Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils where needed and I glued all together on a kraft A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I even glued a strip of paper in the inside of the card and may add a apple die-cut left over. Lastly, I used some vintage Glossy Accents. It's very old and left crackle finishes LOL which is okay.  I had so much fun making this card for this weeks challenge!!

I have a short video sharing my process. Click here

I hope you join us. New challenges start every Thursday!
