Friends of Unity Blog Hop October 2026

 Hello everyone. I'm so excited for our Friends Of Unity Blog Hop for October. Our cue this month is Pink October Breast Cancer Awareness. You probably came here from my friend Crystal's Blog. Oh and if you haven't yet get your Mammogram Scheduled!

Let's Get Started:

On my first card, I used the Beautiful Angel of God Stamp set. I stamped her in Versafine Clair Baby Pink ink on white cardstock. I was just going to leave her not colored but it's so hard for me to leave images uncolored so I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color her in using mostly pink pencils and I also added Nuvo Gilded Flakes in silver to the wings. I cut my image because I knew I wanted to add layers.

The tag is also from Unity Stamp Co. and I added a pink ribbon die-cut. Sentiment was stamped in the same color Versafine Clair ink in Baby Pink and I fussy cut it to fit better and added foam tape to the back. Pink pattern paper is also from Unity and is cut to 5 1/4 x 5 1/2.  

Here is my second card using KOM May 2026 Sorry Stuff Stinks I love this cute skunk and it's true what the sentiment says. Sometimes it does. This cute skunk is stamped with Memento Tuxedo ink on white cardstock and also colored with my Copic Markers and Prismacolor colored pencils. After coloring I cut out my background out with a die from Unity Stamp Co. called Deckle and Stitches Nesting Dies. The floral pattern paper was sent to me from Unity that I also used one of those dies to cut out. It had pinks and thought it looked good. 

I grabbed some pink paper from my scrap bin and stamped the sentiment onto. Also using the smallest die to cut it out.  Everything was glued to a ivory A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

A Colorful Life Designs October 2026 Release

 Hello everyone. I'm so excited to have a card today for A Colorful Life designs New Release for October 2026. If you would like to see my video sharing the whole Release and a Giveaway click here.

Let's Get Started:

I used the New Mid Century Bauble Tree 6x6 Stencil. It's such a cute stencil and I think this tree can be in all such of colors and perfect for batching too. I used purple cardstock 85 pounds and inked it with Catherine Pooler Royal Treatment. I also used Catherine Pooler ink in Over Coffee and Sauna inks for the tree trunk and star.

My purple cardstock is 4 x 5 1/4. I added a sentiment strip that I inked with the same Royal Treatment and I popped it up with foam tape. I also added some purple card bling in Opaque Opalescent Dark Purple from A Colorful Life Designs in and don't forget to use my code VonFan10 to save on your purchases.

{BYSHC} Card Sketch 74 for October 2026

 Hello Everyone Happy October! We have a new card sketch for {BYSHC} Card Sketch 74. I really love this card sketch I hope you join us. Christmas is coming our way and Taylored Expressions is our sponsor this month.

I went with some fun pattern papers and colored cardstock for my Holiday card today. I had to turn my card sketch as my snowman would of looked funny and backwards. So I didn't mind as I don't do this to often. I added some glitter pattern paper and faux glitter pattern paper for fun.

I even placed my sentiment sideways and I like it. I might have to do my sentiments sideways more often. Sentiment is from Papertrey ink. I then glued all to a A 2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and that finishes my card. I hope you join us 

 

Inspired By...Fall Leaves #IB409

 Hello everyone. I'm so excited for this weeks challenge at Inspired by...Blog. This week the theme is Fall Leaves #IB409. We have a fun Card sketch and color inspiration. I hope you join us!

Let's Get Started:

I was inspired by the theme and card sketch. I think the colors from the photo could be in my printable pattern paper.  I went easy this week with this beautiful printable from LV Handcrafted that was a free printable from the Not 2 Shabby Shop Autumn Greetings Retreat recently. I had printed it and not used it so it was perfect for this weeks challenge. There is a wreath on the photo so yay. This sheet included cut a parts and I fussy cut the wreath. 

I cut my printable up and it seemed like this paper was the right size at 3 x 4 7/8. I then glued it to some natural colored cardstock that is 4 x 5 1/4. I glued all to a A2 card base 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. Sentiment Strip was also a from the Not 2 Shabby Shop Autumn Greetings Retreat. Lastly, I added some Fall colored sequins to match. I had so much fun making this card, it was right up my alley.

Inspired by...Coffee Mugs #IB408

 Hello I'm so excited for the Inspired by...Blog Challenge this week. Guess what the theme is??? It's Coffee Mugs#IB408 and you know I love coffee. The inspiration photo is so great too!!!

I was inspired by the theme, colors, and card sketch. I love the Inspiration photo so much it gave me first a Alice in Wonderland and theme park Vibe. So fun. I started out with a A2 white cardstock panel 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I used A Colorful Life Designs Layered Cups Stencil(use VonFan10 to save) It has 2 stencils. I inked up the stencil with Catherine pooler inks in Do Si Do, Serenade, and Glitz. On the second stencil I used a heavier hand to get the designs on the mugs. I stamped a sentiment from Jillian Vance Design retired coffee stamp with the Do Si Do ink on white cardstock and then fussy cut it out.

I used Concord & 9th Bake Shop Dies for the mugs. I cut them out with white cardstock and layerd them on a additional mug for depth, I then ink blended them with the same ink colors to match. I tried to incorporate the card sketch on my card. I black scrap was perfect and I glued my card panel to a A2 card base. I had a additional Mug so I glued that inside my card. I also noticed I could have did only 4 mugs...Oh well it was so much fun!!

Another Holiday Card For {BYSHC} Card Sketch 73

 Hello everyone. I'm so happy to have another Holiday card for {BYSHC} Card Sketch 73. Isn't this a fun card sketch? I love it and wouldn't mind using it to batch a lot of Holiday cards for the Holidays.  Unity Stamp Co. is our sponsor this month yay.

Let's Get Started:

I used Brutus Monroe Tons of Joy Mini Stamp. I stamped this cute elephant with Memento Tuxedo ink and colored it in with my copic markers and Prismacolor colored pencils. I also fussy cut it out.

I then cut some pattern and solid papers to match the card sketch. I glued everything to a A2 top folding card base at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Lastly, I added some white acrylic pen accents to the elephant. I had so much fun making this card. I hope you join us I'm telling you it's a really fun card sketch.

Inspired By...Acorns #IB407

 Hello everyone.  I'm excited that we have a New challenge starting today over on the Inspired by Blog. The theme is Acorns #IB407 yay!! We have a fabulous inspiration photo.

Let's Get Started:

Let's see if you know how I was inspired? Yes Acorns. Also the colors and card sketch.  I was looking for a different acorn die in my stash but this one popped out. So okay I used it.  It's a Stamps of Life Acorn Fold-it-Die Set by Stephanie Bernard. I used the acorn not the fold it die and ran that and a leaf with shadow through my die-cutting Machine with white cardstock. I ink blended with Scorched Timber Distress ink, and Spiced Marmalade Distress ink minis. I used a Tea Dye full  Distress ink pad for my acorns. That die is from the Festive Christmas Arrangement from Kat Scrappiness. I chose not to use the shadow die.

For my leaf and shadow I loved just swiping my ink pads over them. I used Scorched Timber and Rusty Hinge Distress ink Minis. My sentiment from Kat Scrappiness Autumn Lantern Add On was stamped on kraft with Memento Espresso Truffle Dew Drop ink. I cut my sentiment with my paper trimmer. All was glued to pattern paper 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 pattern paper from Pajama Crafter Stamps Savanna Neutrals and then to a white top folding card base. I found some Fall ribbon and tied a bow inking the center with brown ink. Sentiment is popped up with foam.  

And here is the inside of my card where I just stamped some acorns on kraft cardstock with Memento ink using Kat Scrappiness Autumn Lantern Add OnStamp Set. I fussy cut and glued inside my card. I hope I succeeded in this weeks challenge. I had so much fun making this card.
