Happy Birthday Card using Mad Swirls

Hello everyone.  I have a Birthday Slimline Card today using the Mad Swirls Stencil and Glitter Stamp from A Colorful Life Designs newest release.  Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

On my Slimline card today, I used the New Mad Swirls Stencil on white cardstock with Catherine Pooler Oh Boy ink diagonally across my cardstock..  I also stamped the glitter dots filler image with Catherine Pooler Sixteen Candles ink from the New Glitter stamp onto my background for fun.  I like how it came out.

I cut out my background using a Scalloped Slimline die set from Simon Says stamp. I used both the scallop border and inlay rectangle from the die set. I also used the word die that I cut out with lavender cardstock to match and chose not to inlay the letters back in.  I glued my die-cuts with liquid glue to a Slimline card base and glued some sequins to match.  I hope you like my card for today.  Check out A Colorful Life Designs New Release here

BYSH Cardmaking New August 2023 Card Sketch #36

Hello everyone.  It's August which means there is a New Fun Sketch for BYSHC Sketch 36.  I know you'll love it like I do.

For my card I first cut my pattern papers accordingly to the New Sketch 36.  These pattern papers are from a Doodlebug paper pack from my stash.  I also ink blended some purple ink to white cardstock for one of my elements.  I had these cute Hello Bluebird critters colored up in my stamped images folder.  I love that these critters were ready for a card.

Next, I glued all my patter papers and critters to a A2 card base.  I had this sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio stamped and cut out in my sentiments box also ready to go.  I hope you like my card and join us this month and get a head start on some more holiday cards. Just add your photo to the album in the FB group.

Oh Happy Day

Hi everyone.  I have a simple Birthday card using A Colorful Life Designs Balloon Set Stencil.  You can use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

On white cardstock, I used the Balloon Stencil Set with Lawn Fawn Grape Soda, Simon says Stamp Melon ink, and MFT Blue Raspberry ink.  I love this stencil because of the different balloon shapes. I used Ranger Archival ink in Burlap for the Balloon Strings.

I cut out my balloons background using a A2 stitched Rectangle die.  I glued it to a A2 card base with liquid glue.  I found a stamped and heat embossed sentiment strip in my box of pre-made sentiments that I adhered with a foam strip.  I added s few gel accents and that finishes my card.  I hope you like it.

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting.

I have my last card to share with you today.  I will have more Christmas inspiration throughout the year.  New Sketch Challenge coming August 1, 2023.

I'm using Sponsors Graciellie Design and Gina Marie Designs for my card today.  I printed digital stamp called Winter Rose Poinsettia image and sentiment on white cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers and ink blended around it using Lucky Clover Distress ink.  I then used some gold paint to splatter over my image and background.

I cut out my background and image with a double stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs.  I then glued it to some pattern paper before adding it to a A2 card base.  I chose not to add any embellishments for this card.  I liked as is.

I chose to use Sponsor Colorado Craft Company Lovely Legs Mommy Kissing Santa Stamp set. I have had it in my stash and I was so excited to watercolor this big image. It was relaxing too. I cut out my panel with Sponsor Gina K Designs rectangle die from the Masters Layout 1 set.  Hi everyone. It's Day 6 for the BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party and I have another Christmas Card to share. I hope your enjoying the hop and getting your Christmas Cards finished and linked up. There is still time to get your cards linked up and there are some Amazing Sponsors.  Use Hashtag graphic and #christmasinjuly2023byshclp on social media posts.

Today I'm using 2 Sponsors.  A Colorful Life Designs and Newton's Nook Designs. I chose to use the Presents Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I also chose to use this fun older stamp from Newton's Nook Designs called Christmas Haul. I first used white cardstock with the presents Stencil and Simon Hurley Lunar Paste in Bee Sting and Later Gator. I applied the pastes with a Spatula. I then let it dry for the day and cut it to be 4 x4 using my paper trimmer.

I then stamped the image from Christmas Haul with Memento Tuxedo black ink on white cardstock and colored it in with my copic markers. I fussy cut it out with a white border and added some white gel accents. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock with black ink and cut it out with my paper trimmer. I added foam tape to my image and sentiment and added them to my presents panel. I cut some red cardstock and layered my presents panel over it before adding them to a card base. I hope you like my square Christmas card.  It was so much fun to make.

Flamingo Birthday Card.

Hi everyone.  I have a special Flamingo Birthday card I made for a Special Crafter friend's Birthday.  I hope she likes it.  I also thought it was a nice Summer Card so I will link it to the July 2023 Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero challenge Here Comes The Sun.

I chose to use My Monthly Hero kit from July 2022.  Can you believe I had never used it? Unfortunately it is sold out. I have more kits to use too. Can you relate?  Isn't this a cute stamp set with the layering Flamingos? I love Flamingos and in fact I just went to the Zoo with my family the last day of June.  And it was so HOT.  I wanted my flamingos to have black on their heads for some reason.  The ones I seen in person I believe were really light pink and I seen some even pinker ones in Las Vegas. I had fun using mostly Hero Hues Core cube inks in Cotton Candy and Azalea.  I used some off white heavy weight cardstock to layer them on as well as my Misti Stamping platform.  On the second layered image, I used Hero Arts Intense Black ink on their heads and I was going to use black on their feet too but I went with Cotton Candy.  I did ink up the wood 2 layer image in 2 different gray inks.  Lost Shadow Distress ink and Simon Says Stamp Fog Dye ink. I inked up some clouds and a dragonfly from the stamp set using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink and Peacock Feathers Distress ink.

I cut out my flamingos and scene using my paper trimmer to about 4 x 5 1/4.  There is a coordinating die that I will try next time. I then glued my panel to a A2 card base.  I stamped and heat embossed my pun sentiment using white dye ink and Bright White embossing powder from WOW onto black cardstock.  I love Puny Sentiments they make me smile. I fussy cut out my sentiment to fit better on my card front and glued it with liquid glue.  I also added some sequins to match and a little bit of white gel accents.  I doid also ink a little around the edges with the brush I used for Peacock Feathers distress ink.

Do you ever stamp on the inside of your card? I usually don't but like I said this is a Special Birthday Card.  and she really is Flamazing!!

Here is 1 photo from our Zoo visit.

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

Christmas in July using Stampingbella

Hi everyone it's Day 3 and I have another card for BYSHC Linky Party Christmas in July. This one is Snarky. I hope your having fun getting your Christmas Cards done early.  I have been enjoying all the inspiration.  Make sure and use graphic and hashtag #christmasinjuly2023byshclp for your social media posts.

Isn't this image cute? She's stampingbella Christmas Tree Oddball Rubber stamp. I have had her for so long and I was so happy to ink her up for the first time. I stamped her on some Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored her in with copic markers and gel pens. She was really fun. I ink blended the background carefully with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink and then cut my stamp and background with a A2 stitched Rectangle die.

I glued my panel to a A2 top folding card base. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx ink and cut it out with a small rectangle die. I added it to my panel with foam tape and cut the excess paper with my scissors. I added some red embellishments and that finishes my snarky Christmas card. I hope you like it. I hope you'll link your cards, there are some fabulous sponsors and there is a lot of sales going on.

Warmest Wishes Christmas Card

Hi everyone. It's Day 2 of the BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party. I have another Christmas card today. Linky party runs from July 21-July 28 so get your Holiday cards linked up in time.  Use Hashtag #christmasinjuly2023byshclp and graphic on your social media posts so we can see and comment on your cards.

I decided to make a Deer Christmas card today. I used the Christmas Deer Stencil from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs for my background.  On white cardstock, I ink blended it with Catherine Pooler Sea Glass dye ink and Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink. I tried to mask the deer with masking tape when ink blending the trees. Using a small blending brush for the deer helped out. I cut out my panel using a Stitched A2 rectangle die.

Next, I used a Ho Ho Deer circle die form Simon Says Stamp and die-cut it on my panel. I cut out again on white cardstock and ink blended the deer and copic colored the nose and antlers to glue onto my panel. I used a black pen for the eyes. I then ink blended some cardstock to match and placed it in back of my circle of my panel. You could easily make a shaker card with this die. I found this sentiment in my stash so I just popped it up with foam tape. My panel was then added to a A2 card base. I embellished with a few sequins. I hope you'll join the challenge. Use VonFan10 to save at A Colorful Life Designs here.  I will also be linking my Deer card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Four legged Friends

I used Sponsor Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for my card.  The stamp set is called Deck The Halls. Isn;t it lovely? I love it and I was so excited to use it for the Hop.

I started out with Fabriano Cold Pressed Watercolor cardstock 140lb. I cut it to A2 size.  I then stamped and heat embossed the images with Versafine ink and clear embossing powder for a fun design.  I colored my images in with Altenew Watercolor Pans Paint set.  I love to watercolor and I should do it more often.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment using my Misti Stamping Platform and Versafine ink and clear embossing powder.  I then used my paint colors that I used for my card and splattered paint with water onto my panel.  I also splattered gold paint from Gansai Tambi Starry Colors..  I glued my panel to a A2 card base and added some red enamel dots for embellishments. I did add some Holly Leaves that I fussy cut out and added with foam tape. I hope you like it.  It was  a lot of fun.

I colored my mice with Altenew Alcohol Markers. I chose fun colors for their scarves and hats. I then used the Coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my background, I ink blended white cardstock with Peacock Feathers Distress ink, Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink, and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink. After ink blended, I cut out my background with a A2 stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn. I used MFT Stamps Snowfall Stencil and applied Creative Expression Aurora Sparkle Glitter Paste with a Spatula over my background. I then used some stitched Snow Drift dies that I cut out with white cardstock.

I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set with black ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. I then used the die again to cut out with black cardstock so that I could layer my sentiment. I then stamped and heat embossed my secondary sentiment white white embossing powder on black cardstock. I cut my secondary with a paper trimmer.
