{BYSHC} Card Sketch 69 Holiday Card

Hello I have another card to share for {BYSHC} Card Sketch 69. Isn't this card sketch so much fun?? I love the strip and 2 circles.

Let's Get Started:

Since Newton's Nook Designs is our sponsor this month I whipped a fun and easy Holiday card. I used the Cup of Cocoa Stamp set. I stamped this cup image with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with my Copic Markers.  I then fussy cut it out.  I used pattern papers and colored cardstock from my stash as well as a Silver Love From Lizzi Sticker Peel off Strip for the strip on the sketch. So much fun!

Next, My sentiment was stamped in green ink and punched out with a circle punch.  I then glued everything to a white A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I hope you join us this month as we are getting close to halfway to Christmas.

{BYSHC} Spring Into Christmas Linky Party Day 3

Hello everyone.  Yay it's Day 3 for the {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas Linky Party.  How are you doing getting your Holiday Cards finished and linked? I think I'm moving along.   I love seeing everyone's Holiday projects. All cards {or tags} must be Christmas, Hanukkah, Yuletide, wintry, etc. Use the graphic and hashtag #byshcsic2026lp in your social media posts.

Let's Get Started:

On my card, I went simple and you can't go wrong with a stencil right? I used Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs Evergreens Stencil.  On white cardstock I inked up this pretty stencil with Catherine Pooler's Juniper Mist Minis ink pad.  After I was done stenciling, I cut out this card with a stitched rectangle die.

Next, I glued my background to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I had some Pops Of Color Glitter Snowflake on my desk from Scrapbook.com so I pretty much glided some over my trees and let it dry.The next day I put my card together. It has great dimension to it. I then added a sentiment strip from my stash from Simon Says Stamp. I had so much fun with this card.

I hope you join us!

Sending You A Pocket Full Of Pawsitivity

Hello I have a card today for the current Inspired By Challenge Denim.  I am personally a denim girl.  I love my jeans. So I was excited by this challenge and of course I could find my denim pattern cardstock but anyhoo without further ado let's get to my card.

On my card, I used a older STAMPtember stamp set collab. with Simon Says Stamp and Newton's Nook Designs called Pocket Full of Happy.  I finally got to use this stamp set yay.  I stamped and heat embossed the image with Versafine Onyx black ink and WOW clear gloss super fine embossing powder. I then colored it in with my alcohol markers and fussy cut it out.

I was also inspired by the sketch so I used some watercolor paper and my distress watercolor pencils in Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon, and Blueprint Sketch and some water with a paintbrush.  I then cut my watercolor paper with my paper trimmer.  I also cut a A2 size cardstock panel 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and well as a card base.

I stamped a few sentiments from the same stamp set on white cardstock with Hero Hues Periwinkle ink.  I cut my sentiments with my paper trimmer.  Now it was time to assemble my card, I glued everything with liquid glue and popped up my sentiment with foam tape.  I love how my card came out.  It was so much fun to make.  Such a fun challenge.  I hope you were inspired.

Card Sketch For Inky Paws Challenge

Hello I'm so happy to participate in the Inky Paws Challenge 237 over on the Newtons's Nook Designs Blog.  I love challenges they are a great way to motivate you to use your stash and possibly pick a sketch or color combo you wouldn't necessary choose.

I thought I would use Newton's Bubble Tea Stamp for this challenge.  My inspiration was this Bubble Tea pattern paper I had in my stash that's 12 x 12 and from Michaels from a old paper pad.  I stamped and heat embossed Newton on watercolor paper Canson 140 pound with versafine black onyx ink and clear embossing powder.  I chose to use water color pencils like Derwent Intense and Prismacolor Premiere and a water brush.  It was a lot of fun.

I also cut out some gingham pattern paper and colored paper.  I cut Newton and drew a line to ground him on my paper with a gray water color pencil.  I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Everything was glued to a A2 card base.  I think it came out cute.  I haven't had a tea like this for many years and I wasn't that fond of it.  I feel like I need to re-try one.  Let me know which flavor is your favorite.

I also will be entering my card in the Simon says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Cute Cuddly Featuring Newton's Nook Designs and the Simon Says Stamp IG Challenge Watercolor.

Tree Coffee Card

Hi everyone.  I managed to get 1 last Holiday coffee card for the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

It was easy to make another card using Angie Blom Digital Designs Christmas Joy Mugs Kit. I had printed a few pages so I just colored up this tree to-go cup using my alcohol markers.  I then fussy cut it out leaving a white border. I used a Mugs stencil from Newton's Nook Designs called and inked it with Pine Needles distress Oxide ink and Festive Berries distress oxide ink.  I then cut it out with a stitched rectangle die from Mama Elephant.  I cut out a heart too from that die set.

I cut out a sentiment from Angie Blom Christmas Joy Mugs and cut it to be a banner.  I glued everything to a A2 card base.  I popped up my to-go cup and sentiment with foam tape.  That finishes my card.  I had fun making this card and I had so much fun this week. I hope you did too.

Thank you 🌲

Hello everyone.  Today is our last day for the Build Your Stash Holiday cardmakers Falling For The Linly Party.  Oh my gosh I have been having so much fun.  I love all the inspiration.  Here's a few details Cards must be Christmas, Winter, Hanukkah, yuletide, etc.  Use Hashtag #fallingfortheholidays2024byshclp and use graphic so we can see your cards.

On my card, I used Sponsors Not 2 Shabby, Gina K Designs, Newtons Nook Designs, Therm O Web, and Colorado Craft Company.

I started out ink blending the Gingham Stencil from Newtons Nook Designs with Catherine pooler Be Mine ink on white paper 110 pound.  I then colored in the cupcakes that are a digital stamp from Not 2 Shabby.  I colored them in Christmas Colors using pink also which I consider a Christmas color.  I cut out my cupcakes using a double stitched oval die from Gina K Designs master layout 1.

I used some festive small images from Gina K Designs Playful penguins Stamp and Holiday Wreath Builder Stamp.  I used Catherine pooler Mardigras and Samba inks for those images.  I stamped around my cupcakes for fun.  I also used a dots image that I stamped in matching inks on the frosting of my cupcakes.  I used a Gina K Designs rectangle die from the same die set and cut out my stenciled background.   My sentiment was stamped with red ink using Colorado Craft Company Mommy Kissing Santa stamp set. I cut my sentiment using a  paper trimmer.  Everything was glued to a pink A2 card base and my cupcakes were popped up with foam tape by Therm O Web.  I used Merry Grinchmas Sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness to decorate my cupcakes.  I had so much fun making this card.
