This cute penguin and snow balls images is from Pink & Main Flurry of Fun Stamp Set that was stamped with Memento Tuxedo ink and colored in with my copic markers.  I also stamped a sentiment from this set too onto my panel and then glued my panel to a A2 card base.   I added some sequins from A Colorful Life Designs in Satin Matte.  I love how this cute card turned out.

Inspired By... Emojis

Hello everyone.  I have a card today for the Inspired by... Emojis Challenge.  This was a fun challenge to do and I'm so glad I could participate.  Without further ado here is my card.

I was inspired by the photo and sketch.  If you know me then you know I use emojis all the time especially to thank someone.  I did not own any emoji dies though but I was able to make some emojis using what I have in my craft room. YAY.

So I used a old Martha Stewart circle paper punch.  I paper punched 5 circles just like the sketch with yellow cardstock 85 pounds.  I ink blended the edges with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink and the pink cheeks with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink.  So much fun.

I cut out some faces with Lawn Fawn Make Me Smile Dies using black cardstock 85 pounds. The small hearts are from Lawn Fawn Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag Die. I used red faux Christmas glitter pattern paper from Kat Scrappiness. I found some Birthday stickers from Michaels in my stash so I used the party hat and sentiment letters and word stickers.  Everything was glued to a 4 x 5 1/4 white panel cardstock 110 pounds and then glued to a gray A2 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base 110 pounds.  I had so much fun making this card.  It makes me smile.  How about you?  I hope I inspired you to use what is in your stash.  I will be back soon with another Blog Post.

Blender Smoothie Critter Card

Hello there!  I'm back with a fun card using Lawn Fawn.  I've been wanting to use some New to me Lawn Fawn products.  The Lawn Fawnatics Challenge seemed like a great challenge to enter.  So, this is a Bingo Board Challenge #195  Super Fun.  Without Further Ado Let's get to my card.

I chose to do a row across with the Stencil, Heart, Patterned Paper, Lawn Cuts, and Stamp.  I started off with white cardstock and ink blended the Lots Of Hearts Background Stencils.  I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide and Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink to match my banana and strawberry.

I then put my blender together using Build A Drink Blender Add On and Gotta Have Gingham in Dorothy 12 x 12 patterned paper. Black glossy cardstock and white cardstock were also used.  I colored the white pieces with copic markers like my banana, and strawberry and leaf from Build A Drink Cocktail die set.  I also colored the blender feet, and blender knobs.  I made it a shaker with cutting out a few blenders and some recycled packaging.  I also added some clay grapes and sequins.

I cut out my ink blended background with the largest die from the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.  I cut out a smaller rectangle using Fruit Salad Berry Cute Paper 12 x 12.  I then stamped the cute bunny and smoothie images with Memento Tuxedo ink from the treat card add on stamp set.  I colored them in with my copic markers and fussy cut them out. I also stamped one sentiment on a copic colored  speech bubble with black ink from the Reveal Wheel Thought Bubble Add On dies.  Another sentiment was stamped and cut out as a fishtail banner.

Everything was glued to a coordinating card base that measures 6 1/4 x 5.  I popped up the inner speech bubble, bunny and smoothie, and banner sentiment.  I added some white gel pen accents and that finishes this card.  I had so much fun with this challenge and Lawn fawn products.  I am a smoothie drinker how about you?  I love strawberries and bananas with blueberries.  I also love a good tropical smoothie too using pineapple.

Sympathy Cards For Woodblock Wednesday

Hello I have some Sympathy Cards today using some woodblock stamps from my stash for the Woodblock Wednesday Challenge.

Here are my Woodblock Stamps for my project today.  A Hero Arts Sentiment Stamp and others from Garage Sales

Here is the first card I made, I used Canson 140 pounds watercolor paper.  I first started stamping in Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink, Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink, Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink, and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink.  I would just stamp and spray with water directly on the stamp or I would spray my paper.  I had a lot of fun.  I did stamp the sentiment with Versafine Onyx ink in the center.
I cut my stamped background with a Lawn Fawn Large Mini Slimline Stackables die.  I added foam to the back layered it some Indigo colored cardstock and glued it to a card base.  I then embellished with some blue sequins.

Since I had some watercolor paper on my desk, I decided to make another card.  Stamping the same way except less water sprayed on my paper for a cleaner look.  I then cut this one out with a MFT Stamps rectangle die and layered it also on the same Indigo cardstock with foam tape and with sequins.

And here is another Look at my cards.  I had so much fun playing with these woodblock stamps and now I have 2 cards added to my stash. Thank you for taking a look! And Thank you Amy for this fun Challenge.

Happy Holidays And A Happy New Year

Hello everyone.  I'm back with a fun Holiday card for the Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero December Challenge Deck The Halls.  I loved using my Hero Arts products for this card.

I thought it was fun to get some of my Hero Hues inks out and use a New Stencil that I got for Christmas called Holiday Pattern.  I love that this stencil has birds, trees, candy canes and more.  On a creme colored paper 110 pounds I used Hero Hues inks in Cherry, Periwinkle, Splash, Spicy Mustard, Blue Hawaii, Green Apple, and Espresso. I also use a little bit of gray ink from a Charcoal ink cube. So much fun I love a Holiday background with these bright colors.

Next, I used a Rectangle die 2nd to the largest from the Infinity Nested Rectangle dies.  I then used a word die from the Christmas Holiday Stamp and Cut Set.  I cut out the word die 3 times with white paper 110 pounds.  I chose to use my small blending brushes to ink one of the die-cuts with the same inks used to match.  I then glued all my die-cuts together.

I also stamped and Heat embossed a sub sentiment on black paper 85 pounds with the Unicorn pigment ink and white embossing powder.  I then cut my sentiment using a paper trimmer.

I glued everything to a A2 top folding card base 110 pounds.  My sub sentiment was added with a foam strip and my Holiday Pattern background was added with foam,  My word sentiment was glued with liquid glue.  I chose not to used any embellishments on this card.  I love how it came out and you still have time to participate in this challenge.  I know most of us still have out Holiday crafts still on our desks.  Wishing you Happy Holidays and A Happy New Year.

Butterfly Encouragement Card

Hello everyone.  I have another card today using A Colorful Life Designs.  I'm using Winged Love Stencil today.

I think it's a really beautiful stencil.  I started out with white paper 110 pounds.  I ink blended the Winged Love 6x6 Stencil with Honeysuckle and Peacock ink from Concord & 9th.  I then cut out my background using a Hero Arts rectangle die.

I then cut out a Butterfly die from Simon says Stamp called Rose Winged Butterfly.  I cut ot out with white paper 110 pound 2 times just for the antennas and body.  I copic colored those with a black marker.  I glued my butterfly onto my card front.  I adhered my card panel with foam onto my A2 card base.  I stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Sunny smiles with Midnight ink from Catherine Pooler.  I cut my sentiment and attached it to my card with a foam strip.  I used my white Gelly Roll pen and added a few gel accents to my butterfly.  I love how it came out.

Graceful Flowers Sending Love & Hugs

Hello everyone.  I have a Slimline card today using the Simon Says Stamp August 2024 kit Graceful Flowers.  I have been wanting to use this floral stamp.  The last time I used the kit was for the Blossom Swag embossing folder and I made a video you can watch it here

I had so much fun making this card.  It was easy too.  I started out with white cardstock 110 pound.  I stamped the floral image from the Graceful Flowers Stamp set with Versafine Onyx ink and heat embossed with clear embossing folder using my Misti stamping platform.  I loved the Paper Rose Botanical Blooms pattern papers from the kit so I used markers close to those colors to color my floral image.

I then cut out my floral image with a Simon Says Stamp Slimline Scallop Frame die using the largest die from the set. It cuts a border and inner rectangle out. I wanted blue around my image like the Paper Rose Botanical Blooms pattern paper so I inked around it using Distress Oxide ink in Broken China and a blending brush.  I also inked the scalloped border to match.

I glued everything to a Slimline card base and I popped up the inner die-cut with foam and liquid glue.  I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Graceful Flowers Stamp.  I then fussy cut around it to fit better on my card. I popped it up with some foam sqaures from the kit. I embellished with some green gems from Pinkfresh studio.  I absolutely love how it came out.  It's a Beautiful stamp set and it's still available I will link it down below.
