Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge For April

Hello everyone.  Here is another card I made for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #28Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is a Sponsor and you still have time to participate for a chance to win $25 GC.  Use hashtag #cccc28 on the socials.

On my card, I used Sweet Holiday Wishes Stamp and Coordinating die, Latte Love Stamp, and Poinsettia Wishes Stamp.  I started out with stamping the cute ginger girl with black ink on white cardstock.  I colored her in with copic markers.  I also stamped the small to-go cup from Latte Love Stamp and colored it to match.  I used the coordinating die to cut the ginger out and I fussy cut out the to-go cup.

For my background, I cut out some white cardstock 4x 5 1/4.  I used the Poinsettia wishes stamp and stamped the smaller Poinsettia with Catherine Pooler Samba ink in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation stamping.  I used Catherine Pooler Mardi Gras ink for the leaves also using the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation stamping.  I used black ink for the center image.  I also stamped the sentiment from Sweet Holiday Wishes with Mardi Gras ink.  I cut my sentiment with my paper trimmer rounding it off.

I then glued my background to a kraft A2 card base.  I added the ginger, to-go cup, and sentiment with foam tape.  Lastly, I added some gel accents with my gelly roll pen and clear sequins.  I hope you like it.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Caffeinated Christmas card for April 2024

Hello everyone. Happy April. There is a April Challenge for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge that will run from April 1st-April 25th.  I have a Caffeinated card for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps as they are a sponsor for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge this month yay.  You can win a 25 GC to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.  So Amazing! Use hashtag #cccc28

On my card, I used Holiday Cheer Stamp, I like Big Cups Stamp, and the Grunge Dots Stencil.  I first started out stamping the coffee cup on white cardstock.  I colored it in with my Copic Markers.  I had already had the candy canes image colored and cut out from a previous project.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Versafine Black Onynx ink and Clear embossing powder from the Holiday Cheer onto white cardstock.

I cut my cardstock to be 4 x 5 1/4. I grabbed a sheet of foam and cut it to fit the back of my panel before glueing it to my A2 card base.  I like the depth and it's easier to use a sheet than a bunch of foam tape strips sometimes. I glued my cup and candy canes to my card. I then ink blended the edges around my card with green tea ink from Catherine Pooler. My card felt plain, so I grabbed the Grunge Dots Stencil and ink blended it with Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus ink over my already green ink blending.  I then flicked some white paint splatters over my card with a paint brush, water using Picket Fence Distress Spray.  Lastly, I added some embellishments.  I hope you like my card.  I can't wait to see your cards for the challenge.

Merry Christmas Poinsettia Card

Hello everyone.  I have a Holiday card to share using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I had so much making this card and I plan to give  it to our friend April who is bringing us some Homemade Cookies. She always makes so many different kinds.  My favorite is the Magic Coconut Bars...Yum.

I went for a pinkish Holiday Card.  I love how it came out.  I used pink heavy weight cardstock 110lb. panel 4 x 5 1/4.  I placed my cardstock in my misti stamping platform and used the Poinsettia Wishes Stamp set.  I used Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo dye ink for the flowers and I inked up the leaves with Catherine Pooler Deck The Halls Dye ink.  I used Versafiene Nocturne ink for the centers and I scattered some of the centers on my card.  I also stamped the sentiment on my panel too.  I have used this sentiment a lot for my Holiday Cards. I love the font so much.

Next, I glued my panel to a green heavy weight A2 Card Base.  I added some sequins and that finishes this card.  I had a lot of fun making it and it was really easy too.  I hope you like it.

Thank you for taking a Peek.

A Gnome and his Holiday Coffee

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for the Coffee Lovers Fall Winter Blog Hop that starts today.  I have a card I made using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  They are a Sponsor and you can win a $25 gc to the store. Make sure to comment on the Sweet 'n sassy Stamps Blog post.

On my card, I used the Winter Gnomes stamp set.  I had already had it stamped and cut out with my brother scan n cut.  I colored it in with my Copic Markers.  I went for some traditional colors.  On my background, I ink blended some white cardstock with Weathered Wood Distress oxide ink. I did make my own snow drift using scissors and white cardstock.  I cut my cardstock and snow drift to be smaller than A2 size.  I then glued my panel to a A2 card base and added my snow drift with foam tape.  Next, I glued my gnome.

I then stamped some snowflakes from the same stamp set with the same distress oxide ink onto my background.  I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Holiday Cheer Stamp on red cardstock and white ink with white embossing powder.  I cut my sentiment and decided to stamp  "gnome' for a pun. I glued my sentiment and that finishes my card. I also added some white gel accents with my gelly roll pen and used a gray marker to drawn in some snow.  I hope you like it.  I had a lot of fun making it.  Now, I will grab a cup of coffee and do some hopping.

Sweet n' Sassy Stamps New September Release

Hi everyone.  I'm so excited Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has a Brand New Release today.  Today, I'm sharing one of the cards I created for the New Release.  And it's a Holiday Themed Release!

Aren't these Candy Canes Pretty?  I used the New Holiday Cheer Stamp set illustrated my Julee Tilman.  I love Julee's Stamps and this set has a coffee/tea cup and some beautiful sentiments with different fonts.  I know you will love it.  I chose to stamp this candy can on Neenah Solar White cardstock.  I colored it in with my copic markers and fussy cut it out.  There is a coordinating die set at Sweet n' Sassy Stamps.

Next, I printed some tags from the Gnomie Christmas Digital stamp on red cardstock.  I fussy cut it out.  I grabbed some greenish cardstock and stamped the candy canes in Catherine Poolers ink all over my panel. It was really fun.  I then cut my cardstock to be 4 x 5.25.  I tied some Christmas twine on my tag.

I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with black ink on white cardstock and cut it out with my paper trimmer.  I glued everything to a A2 card base and I popped up my sentiment with foam tape.  I used a white gelly roll pen for accents and glued some gold baubles.  That finishes my card.  I hope ypu like it and check out the new release here.  I will be back sharing what I created for the New Release.
