Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge For April

Hello everyone.  Here is another card I made for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #28Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is a Sponsor and you still have time to participate for a chance to win $25 GC.  Use hashtag #cccc28 on the socials.

On my card, I used Sweet Holiday Wishes Stamp and Coordinating die, Latte Love Stamp, and Poinsettia Wishes Stamp.  I started out with stamping the cute ginger girl with black ink on white cardstock.  I colored her in with copic markers.  I also stamped the small to-go cup from Latte Love Stamp and colored it to match.  I used the coordinating die to cut the ginger out and I fussy cut out the to-go cup.

For my background, I cut out some white cardstock 4x 5 1/4.  I used the Poinsettia wishes stamp and stamped the smaller Poinsettia with Catherine Pooler Samba ink in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation stamping.  I used Catherine Pooler Mardi Gras ink for the leaves also using the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation stamping.  I used black ink for the center image.  I also stamped the sentiment from Sweet Holiday Wishes with Mardi Gras ink.  I cut my sentiment with my paper trimmer rounding it off.

I then glued my background to a kraft A2 card base.  I added the ginger, to-go cup, and sentiment with foam tape.  Lastly, I added some gel accents with my gelly roll pen and clear sequins.  I hope you like it.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Caffeinated Christmas card for April 2024

Hello everyone. Happy April. There is a April Challenge for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge that will run from April 1st-April 25th.  I have a Caffeinated card for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps as they are a sponsor for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge this month yay.  You can win a 25 GC to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.  So Amazing! Use hashtag #cccc28

On my card, I used Holiday Cheer Stamp, I like Big Cups Stamp, and the Grunge Dots Stencil.  I first started out stamping the coffee cup on white cardstock.  I colored it in with my Copic Markers.  I had already had the candy canes image colored and cut out from a previous project.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Versafine Black Onynx ink and Clear embossing powder from the Holiday Cheer onto white cardstock.

I cut my cardstock to be 4 x 5 1/4. I grabbed a sheet of foam and cut it to fit the back of my panel before glueing it to my A2 card base.  I like the depth and it's easier to use a sheet than a bunch of foam tape strips sometimes. I glued my cup and candy canes to my card. I then ink blended the edges around my card with green tea ink from Catherine Pooler. My card felt plain, so I grabbed the Grunge Dots Stencil and ink blended it with Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus ink over my already green ink blending.  I then flicked some white paint splatters over my card with a paint brush, water using Picket Fence Distress Spray.  Lastly, I added some embellishments.  I hope you like my card.  I can't wait to see your cards for the challenge.

Dancin Mouse, Coffee, and Snowflakes

Hello everyone I have a card I made for the current Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Coffee+Snowflakes.  I chose to used this cute Spellbinders Die Set that I got in December last month/year.

I love this cute series of dance dies from Spellbinders.  I have been collecting them. This one is called Dancin and Giftin Mouse.  I started out using a white A2 cardstock panel with a Filigree Snowflakes embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. I ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum Aqua 6 Machine using the perfect sandwich plates. I then ink blended it a little with Hickory Smoke Distress ink. Next, I then ran my mouse dies through my die-cutting machine using white, pink, blue, purple, and black cardstock.

I ink blended the head and ears with Hickory Distress ink.  I made her boots with multiple layers as I wanted them to be thick die-cuts.  I cut out a retired small coffee to-go cup from a CC Designs die set that I had in my stash and I thought it was the perfect size for my mouse.  I cut it out with white and purple cardstock.

Next, I cut my embossed panel to be smaller than A2 size. 4 x 5 1/4.  I glued my mouse to my panel using foam squares so that my mouse could move.  I made sure to not glue the legs.  I love her holding a coffee.  I stamped a sentiment from STAMPlorations Holiday Mocha Feels for on white cardstock with black ink.  I cut it to be a fishtail banner.  I glued my panel to a white A2 card base and attached my sentiment with foam tape.  I embellished with snowflakes and added some white gel accents with a gelly roll pen.  I hope you like my card.  I had fun making it.  I love making her dance.

Snowman Hot Cocoa

Hello everyone.  I cannot believe Christmas is around the corner.  I was hoping to get some more Christmas Crafting in before Christmas.  We will see... Anywhoo I have fun Holiday card that I made for the current Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Coffee + Snowman #24.

I had so much fun making this card.  I had this cute Snowman Mug SVG file for awhile and I'm so glad I could use it for this Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge.  I first cut all my pieces from my Silhouette Design Library using my Silhouette Cameo 3 machine.  I used mostly, white, red, black, kraft, orange, and pink cardstock.  I did ink blend the kraft cardstock for the hands, coffee, and gingerbread with Ground Espresso Distress ink.

I glued my snowman Hot Cocoa together using liquid glue.  I used my white and black gel pens for accents and details. I also used a red copic marker for some shading. I used pattern paper from my stash I believe this one came from Joanns.  I love that it was double sided and that I liked both patterns for this card.  I cut my pieces using my paper trimmer.

I added some coarse white glitter to my marshmallows and candy cane and glued everything to a pink A2 card base.  I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from Jaded Blossom White Christmas Stamp and then cut it to fit my card.  I didn't feel like I needed embellishments for this card.  I hope you like it.

Thank you for taking a look!
