Inspired By...Cookies

Hello everyone. I have a card today for our New Inspired By... Challenge #IB359  Cookies is our theme and we have a fun sketch for you too.  Don't forget to tag inspired_by_challenge on the socials. #inspiredbychallenges

Without further ado here is my card...

Here is how I was inspired-by the inspiration photo up above. I really wanted a stamp set with Halloween cookies or cupcakes and I didn't own any of those unfortunately. I did have some Halloween stickers from Doodlebug Design and a Bake It Merry baking die set from The Greetery.  I cut out the cookies in white cardstock and ink blended them in black and orange and left some white like the inspiration photo.  I cut out some pattern paper like the cupcake wrappers from the photo.

I cut out my baking tray with gray and vellum cardstock.  I also ink blended a rolling pin.  My sentiment comes from Kat Scrappiness Simple Sentiments Holiday Edition that I had in my stash and cut out with the coordinating die that cuts tons of sentiments at one time.  I popped up my sentiment and added some Halloween House Sprinkles also from Kat Scrappiness and glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how it came out.
I hope I inspired you to look through your stash and create something for this challenge.

Inspired By...Panels

Hello everyone.  We have a New Challenge and Sketch for you at Inspired By...This week is about Panels.  I love the sketch too.  Also, if you post on social media, please tag @inspired_by_challenge

Hello everyone.  I was inspired by the photo and the sketch.  I love those panels with the mod leaves.  I couldn't find those exact colors or leaves in my stash but I did some similar and liked this cool leaf die from Simon Says Stamp that I cut out in white cardstock.

I used a rectangle die but I had to still trim it still as it was still to large for this sketch. I then laid out all my rectangle die-cuts once they were cut to my liking on a A2 white cardstock panel 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Cozy Wishes in black ink and cut it to a strip.  I popped it up with foam tape and adhered it to my card.

I hope you join us this week, I can't wait to see how you were inspired.

Cheers!

Hello I have a card today for the current Inspired By Challenge...Pina Colada #1B334.  I was inspired by the photo theme, and sketch. So much fun! Without further ado here is my card.

Well here is a look at my creative process

I love the Tropical Vibes lately and I had to participate in this challenge.  Of course I got out a few products and I ended up using Lawn Fawn Build-A-Drink Cocktail Add-On Die Set.  I also used some tropical rub ons from my stash that I rubbed on with a popsicle stick.  It was a lot of fun.  I used a panel smaller than A2 size in yellow cardstock.  It actually fell on the ground as I was looking for other papers..screaming pick me.  So I did.  I cut some white cardstock like the sketch and rubbed those tropical transfers on those pieces.  I then began to make my tropical Pina Colada shaker. I personally do not like the drink but I think it's pretty.  I used maybe 5 layers of white die-cuts of my glass.  I cut out the top layer with white glitter cardstock and glued it to some acetate packaging.  I cut out some greenery with white cardstock and colored it with a green marker.  I also cut out the cherry and stem and colored them also.

Next, I used a word sentiment from a Trinity Stamps bottle gift tag die set that also has a shadow that I cut out with pink cardstock.  I used a sprinkle mix from my stash that has some yellow, gold, and lemon clay pieces for fun.  I glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and that finishes my card.  I had a lot of fun making this card and I'm so happy I was able to join this challenge.

Hugs!!🩷

Hello You Make Me Smile

Hello I have a card today my main motivation was the Color Hues Challenge #111 Coral and Green.  I think these colors are fun and I immediately went through my stash to see what to make with these 2 colors.  Without further ado here's my card.

I love this CAS card I made.  I finally got to use a Pinkfresh Studio set that has been in my stash for a long while.  So I started off with Hammermill cardstock and stamped my first set of alpha images from the Pinkfresh Studio called Inna's Alpha Stamp set (unfortunately it's retired) using Lawn Fawn Black Licorice ink.  There are 2 large images for the whole alpha.  I needed both stamped.  I used my Misti stamping platform.

I used the coordinating stencils to ink the letters, florals, and leaves.  I must admit that was fun.  I used inks Pinkfresh Studio Persimmon and Concord & 9th Grapefruit ink for the coral.  I used Concord & 9th inks in Parsley and Evergreen for the leaves for my green.  I inked the letters in Concord & 9th Dove ink for my neutral color.  I then used the coordinating dies to cut the letters out and like the stamp there is 2 large dies.

I arranged my letters to fit on my background die-cut.  I also cut out an extra set of letters with heavy weight cardstock to layer onto for dimension.  The die I used for my background is called Pinkfresh Studio Diagonal Stitched Plaid that I cut out in white 110 pound cardstock.  I glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I found a sub sentiment strip in my stash and I popped it up with a foam strip.  I embellished my card with Pinkfresh Studio jewels in Bubblegum.  I had so much fun making this card and I even have so many letters ready to go for future cards. I think this card will be for a crafty friend as I have been telling them lately they make me smile and it's true.💖

I also will be linking my card to the Pinkfresh Studio Anything Goes Challenge there is a color inspiration as well.  I will have to try that next time.

Blender Smoothie Critter Card

Hello there!  I'm back with a fun card using Lawn Fawn.  I've been wanting to use some New to me Lawn Fawn products.  The Lawn Fawnatics Challenge seemed like a great challenge to enter.  So, this is a Bingo Board Challenge #195  Super Fun.  Without Further Ado Let's get to my card.

I chose to do a row across with the Stencil, Heart, Patterned Paper, Lawn Cuts, and Stamp.  I started off with white cardstock and ink blended the Lots Of Hearts Background Stencils.  I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide and Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink to match my banana and strawberry.

I then put my blender together using Build A Drink Blender Add On and Gotta Have Gingham in Dorothy 12 x 12 patterned paper. Black glossy cardstock and white cardstock were also used.  I colored the white pieces with copic markers like my banana, and strawberry and leaf from Build A Drink Cocktail die set.  I also colored the blender feet, and blender knobs.  I made it a shaker with cutting out a few blenders and some recycled packaging.  I also added some clay grapes and sequins.

I cut out my ink blended background with the largest die from the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.  I cut out a smaller rectangle using Fruit Salad Berry Cute Paper 12 x 12.  I then stamped the cute bunny and smoothie images with Memento Tuxedo ink from the treat card add on stamp set.  I colored them in with my copic markers and fussy cut them out. I also stamped one sentiment on a copic colored  speech bubble with black ink from the Reveal Wheel Thought Bubble Add On dies.  Another sentiment was stamped and cut out as a fishtail banner.

Everything was glued to a coordinating card base that measures 6 1/4 x 5.  I popped up the inner speech bubble, bunny and smoothie, and banner sentiment.  I added some white gel pen accents and that finishes this card.  I had so much fun with this challenge and Lawn fawn products.  I am a smoothie drinker how about you?  I love strawberries and bananas with blueberries.  I also love a good tropical smoothie too using pineapple.

Butterfly Encouragement Card

Hello everyone.  I have another card today using A Colorful Life Designs.  I'm using Winged Love Stencil today.

I think it's a really beautiful stencil.  I started out with white paper 110 pounds.  I ink blended the Winged Love 6x6 Stencil with Honeysuckle and Peacock ink from Concord & 9th.  I then cut out my background using a Hero Arts rectangle die.

I then cut out a Butterfly die from Simon says Stamp called Rose Winged Butterfly.  I cut ot out with white paper 110 pound 2 times just for the antennas and body.  I copic colored those with a black marker.  I glued my butterfly onto my card front.  I adhered my card panel with foam onto my A2 card base.  I stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Sunny smiles with Midnight ink from Catherine Pooler.  I cut my sentiment and attached it to my card with a foam strip.  I used my white Gelly Roll pen and added a few gel accents to my butterfly.  I love how it came out.
