Have a Tweet-rrific Birthday

 Hello I am back with a Spring card.  I love hearing the birds at my house in the yard it's so nice. I see bunnies and squirrels everyday too.  I thought I would use some birds on my card today for a Birthday Card.

On my card today, I used the Simon Says Stamp Tweet Friend Stamp set that came in the March 2025 card kit.  I love this kit and this is the 2nd card Ive made with it.  I first stamped the birdbath and branches on a Neenah 110 pound panel using my misti stamping platform and memento tuxedo ink.  Later I stamped the birds also on Neenah with memento ink.  Everything was colored using my alcohol markers copic and 1 Ohuhu marker.

I fussy cut my birds and I stamped a sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx ink that I fussy cut too.  My sentiment strip I cut out with my paper trimmer. I ink blended my background with some Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink and colored in some grass for my background.  I popped up 2 birds and my sentiments.  Everything else was glued with liquid glue and to a Neenah 110 pound A2 card base.  

I had so much fun with this card as it's not my usual colors that I normally use. I will be linking it up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Happy Birthday Using Simon Says Stamp

Card Sketch For Inky Paws Challenge

 Hello I'm so happy to participate in the Inky Paws Challenge 237 over on the Newtons's Nook Designs Blog.  I love challenges they are a great way to motivate you to use your stash and possibly pick a sketch or color combo you wouldn't necessary choose.

I thought I would use Newton's Bubble Tea Stamp for this challenge.  My inspiration was this Bubble Tea pattern paper I had in my stash that's 12 x 12 and from Michaels from a old paper pad.  I stamped and heat embossed Newton on watercolor paper Canson 140 pound with versafine black onyx ink and clear embossing powder.  I chose to use water color pencils like Derwent Intense and Prismacolor Premiere and a water brush.  It was a lot of fun.  

I also cut out some gingham pattern paper and colored paper.  I cut Newton and drew a line to ground him on my paper with a gray water color pencil.  I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Everything was glued to a A2 card base.  I think it came out cute.  I haven't had a tea like this for many years and I wasn't that fond of it.  I feel like I need to re-try one.  Let me know which flavor is your favorite.

Valentine card using The Greeting Farm

 Hello everyone.  I have a card to share using the Newest Digital stamp called Sweet Treat Anya from The Greeting Farm.  I think this Anya is so cute and so I used her for my Valentine card today.

I thought Anya looked so cute carrying her Treat Box.  I almost put her on a Tag.  I printed her and some sentiments on hammer mill cardstock.  I colored her in with my alcohol markers.  I then fussy cut her out using my scissors.  She was really easy to fussy cut.  

Her Blooms in her hair reminded me of the Dramatic Blooms Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.  It's a really pretty stencil and you can use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off.  On white cardstock, I ink blended the stencil with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide ink for the center.  Next, I cut my background to be A2 size "4 1/4 x 5 1/2".  I glued Anya and my background to a kraft top folding A2 card base.

Next, I cut my sentiment with my paper trimmer and adhered my sentiment with foam tape to my card.  I applied pink chalk for Anya's cheeks and added some white gel accents using my Gelly Roll pen.  Lastly, I glued purple gems and sparkle to Anya's Blooms and bow.  I hope you like my Valentine Card.  I had so much fun making this card.  I will also be linking my card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Anything Goes.

 Hello everyone. I was super excited to receive my My Monthly Hero Kit-July. I love the kit so much. I will be participating in the Stay Crafty with A Blog named Hero July 2023 Challenge Here Comes the Sun.

I first cut some Dandelion Fancy Dies from the kit with gray heavy weight cardstock. I then ink blended some white cardstock using inks Mint to Green Ombre ink and Spring Day Reactive Ombre ink using my blending brushes. I flicked some Distress Spray Stain in Picket Fence with some water and a paint brush on my background. I then cut out my background with a Infinity Nested Rectangle Die.

From the gray cardstock that I cut my Dandelions from I used as a stencil and ink blended some dandelions on my panel using the same inks. I had this cute mouse stamped out already from a older kit that and I simply colored it with my alcohol markers and used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from My Monthly Hero July Kit with white ink and white embossing powder on black cardstock. I cut my sentiment making it a flag. I glued everything to a A2 top folding card base. My sentiment is popped up with foam tape. Lastly, I added some sparkle with a glitter pen on my dandelions and white gel accents on my mouse with a gel pen. I hope you like my card. It was so much fun to make.
