Christmas in July Challenges

Hello everyone.  I've been having so much fun with Christmas in July.  Did you know Kat Scrappiness has a challenge going on? It's a fun one pick 3 Parameters.  And there is 2 winners so great.

And A Amazing Sale.  Kat Scrappiness Ships Fast too.

So for my Holiday Card I created a simple card that would be great to batch or mass produce.  This challenge is so much fun you pick 3 parameters and there is 2 bug prizes.  You should definitely check it out.

For my 3 Parameters:

I used Mainly Red and Green, Holiday Tree (Christmas Tree), and a Focal Sentient

I die cut my background using a Embossed Edge Rectangle die with the Starlight Jewel Remixed 6x6 Paper pack.  I used the Brush Christmas Tree with white and green paper and glued them together. I ink blended the green tree with Lucky Clover Distress ink to make it a slight darker.  I cut out the Jingle all The Way Craft Word Die with a solid red pattern paper from the Magical Memories 6x6 paper pad.  I also cut it out with the green paper.  I glued them together.  I also cut out the star from the Brush Christmas tree using the same red solid pattern paper.

I glued everything to a White Side Folding A2 card base.  I didn't add embellishments because it might be 4 parameters if I did and the challenge is for 3.  Although I might have more on my card lol.  I love how it came out. Good luck with the challenge.  You can link your card on the KS Blog here

Pour Yourself A Latte

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to share my card using Pour Yourself A Latte Stamp and Coordinating Craft Dies from Kat Scrappiness.

Kat Scrappiness is having a Flash 48hr Sale.  No code needed. Shop the sale here. 40% off selected KS Exclusive items. Sale ends January 21, 2024 @Midnight PST.

I started out stamping and embossing some of the Latte Cups, Steam, and floral images with Versafine ink and clear embossing powder on Neenah Solar White 80lb. Cardstock.  I used my copic markers and Ohuhu Markers to color in my images and then used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.  Next, I cut out the A2 Qbert Quilt background die out with white cardtock.  I used the A2 Qbert Stencil to coordinate with the die-cut.  I then ink blended with Ground Espresso Distress ink.  I stamped the Swan Coffee Art with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink and heat embossed it using my clear embossing powder for the inside of my latte cup.   You can also use the die to cut out the art for more dimension.

I used a rectangle die from the Embossed Rectangle dies with white cardstock to ink blend with Ground Espresso Distress ink to lay my latte cup on.   I cut the rest of the die-cut using my paper trimmer.  I only wanted a small piece of the rectangle.  I also used the new Love is in the Air Stencil on my Qbert Quilt ink blended die-cut using 2 different brown inks.  Ground Espresso Distress ink and Lawn fawn Crunchy Leaf ink.  I love how it came out.

I then used the Got Coffee Shadow Sentiment Craft Die using the word die only and cut it out with a aqua colored cardstock to match.  I used a copic marker and gave some shadows on my die-cut.  I glued everything to a Aqua A2 heavy weight cardstock card base using liquid glue.  Lastly, I embellished my card using the Sparkling Seashore embellishment Sprinkle Mix.  I hope you like my card.  It was so much fun to make.  I hope you take advantage of the 48hr Flash Sale at Kat Scrappiness.

Thank you for stopping by!

Life is Good

Hi everyone. I have a fun card today.  I have been loving the New Kat Scrappiness Farmhouse Release and I hope you have too.  I have a New card video over on the Kat Scrappiness YouTube Channel. I would love for you to watch.

I started out with white cardstock and stamped all my images from the Farmhouse Stamp with black ink using my Misti Stamping Platform.  I colored my images with copic markers and then used the coordinating Farmhouse dies to cut them out.

Next, I cut out some Farmhouse Pattern Paper.  I love the papers from the New Farmhouse Paper Pack.  I used a A2 Embossed Edge Rectangle to cut my pattern paper out.  I also cut out the Slimline Wire and Woodgrain Frame die with Kraft cardstock.  I love that it looks like chicken wire for my scene card design.  I did cut it down to fit my card.  I then stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Farmhouse Sentiments stamp with white embossing powder on black cardstock.  I used the coordinating die to cut out my sentiment.  I also layered it on 2 more die-cuts for dimension.

I glued everything to a A2 kraft card base and I added some White Confetti Sprinkles and white gel accents with my white gel pen. My farm is popped up with foam tape for some dimension. That finishes my card.  I hope you like it.

Here is what I made for the Hops today:

I just love this image of the cow, pig, and hen from the New Farmhouse Stamp set.  I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with some paint pans, a paint brush, and some water.  I also used some watercolor markers.  I then cut it out with the New Coordinating Farmhouse dies.  This makes an easy card that you can mass produce easily since it is a bigger image.

Next, I cut out some glitter pattern paper using the New A2 Qbert die using the New Autumn Glitter paper pack.  Bothe the paper and die are Amazing. I just love how that die embosses and how the paper is mess free and so pretty.  I also cut out some green glitter pattern paper from the same pack for my grass/ground for my farm animals. using the A2 Qbert quilted die also.  I wanted some yellow for a sun for my card so I used the Farmhouse Pattern paper pack and cut out a strip. I glued everything to a A2 side folding card base.  I stamped a sentiment from the New Farmhouse Sentiments stamp with red ink on the same watercolor paper that I used from my image. I then cut it out with the coordinating die.  It's easy to cut out the backer and then stamp the sentiment.  You can use a stamping tool and place it in there and match it up.  I layered my sentiment on about 3 sentiment backers for dimension.  Finally, I glued everything together and embellished my card with some New Aww-tumn Sequins Remixed.  I love this mix and any of these embellishments would have matched perfectly.

You can watch how I made my card here

I hope you'll hop along today to both YouTube and IG hops. There is so much inspiration from our Talented Kat Scrappiness Team.  Winner will be announced August12,2023 on @katscrappiness! Good Luck!
