On this card I used The New Mid Century Star Balls 6x6 Stencil. It is so pretty and reminded me of the Fair. I think it's also great for a Independence day Card. What would you use it for? On Hammermill cardstock 100 pounds I used Concord & 9th inks in Cranberry, Midnight, and Stardust inks. I cut my background to be 4 x 5 1/4. I think this background has a Vintage feel.
Next, I stamped a carousel from hero Arts Ornate Carousel Stamp with Memento ink. This is a older stamp from a Monthly My Hero Kit. I colored the carousel in with my Copic and OLO markers. I fussy cut it out. I also stamped a sentiment from the same stamp. I attached my background panel to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 with a craft foam sheet smaller than my panel. I popped up my carousel with foam tape and glued my sentiment with liquid glue. I embellished with some pretty blue card bling. I love how it came out. You can check out the New Release here.
