Inspired By...Autumn Challenge

Hello there! Today, I have a card for the current Inspired By...Autumn Challenge #IB354.  I'm so super excited to be joining the Inspired By... Design Team Yay!! I love these challenges so much they really get me motivated. I invite you to play along, there is a fun color inspiration photo and a sketch.  Of course you can use both..and I can't wait to see how you are inspired!

Without further ado here is my card...

I was inspired by this sketch.  Isn't it fun?  I then decided to go with some Autumn Critters.  I first cut some white cardstock to be 4 x 5 1/4.  I then found this pretty printed vellum paper pack 5.8 x 8.2 that was gifted to me.  So I picked this pretty chevron print with gold that always makes me think of Autumn/Fall.  I cut these strips to 1 inch.  I then cut them in to 1 inch squares.  I knew I needed 12 according to the sketch.

I love this Lawn Fawn stamp called Jump For Joy, it's always so much fun.  I stamped my images on Hammermill cardstock 100 pounds with Memento Tuxedo ink.  I colored them in with my Altenew and Copic Markers. I also used some Catherine Pooler Over Coffee dye ink for the tree branches. I then fussy cut everything out.  I glued my squares to my panel and then rearranged my images.  I stamped a sentiment from the set with Versafine Onyx ink on a piece of white cardstock and then I cut a fishtail with my scissors.  My panel was then glued to a brown A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how this card came out!  I hope I inspired you to give the Inspired By...Autumn Challenge a try.

Leaves Fall card... More days Like This

Hello I have a Leaves Fall card to share.  I was so inspired by the Inspired by...Leaves Challenge that I knew I had to join the challenge.

Without further ado here is my card.

On my card, I wanted to use the inspiration photo and sketch.  I started out with die-cutting leaves from a older Spellbinders die set called Autumn Leaves.  I used Mix Media Arches paper in 140 pounds.  I then inked my leaves around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and Rusty Hinge distress Oxide ink.  Next, I painted them with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors in Red Gold using a paint brush and water.

I then ran a older Spellbinders Falling Leaves embossing folder through my die cutting machine. My embossing folder was inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink on cream colored cardstock 110 pounds.  I cut out some brown heavy weight cardstock 110 pounds using my paper trimmer trying to mimic the sketch design.

I cut a printed sentiment out from a Unity Stamp Co. freebie using my paper trimmer. I made it a fishtail banner using my scissors.  I then glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  My embossed panel is 4 x 5 1/4.  I pinched my leaves before gluing them to my squares, I like this look.  I love how this card came out it was so fun and I just love Fall leaves, so thank you to Inspired by for this fun challenge.  I hope I inspired you to participate!  Hugs!!

It's Pumpkin Spice Season!

Hello there!  I have a card to share that I created for the Color Hues Challenge Orange and Green.  I love these colors, another amazing combo.  I first thought of oranges.

Without further ado, here is my card...

I have been loving the Pumpkin Spice Coffees lately Hot or Cold I love both.  So when I seen the colors for this challenge I decided to make a Pumpkin Spice Coffee fall card.  I started out with Trinity Stamps Boo Brew Die Set.  I cut out the larger cup die with orange cardstock 65 pounds.  I cut out the stitched dies for the cup with white cardstock 110 pounds.  I ink blended those with Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie ink.  I cut out the whip with white cardtock and used W2 Copic Marker for some interest.  The leaf and squiggly stem is cut out with white cardstock 110 pounds and ink blended with Hero Arts Hero Hues Moss ink cube.  I glued my Pumpkin spice coffee together with liquid glue and added foam tape to the back.

I cut out a white cardstock panel 110 pounds 4 x 5 1/4.  I used A Colorful Life Designs Leaf Frame 6x6 Stencil (use VonFan10 to save)with the same Moss ink cube.  I love how it came out.  I cut out a pre printed sentiment that Unity Stamp Co. had sent me free with a purchase. I popped this sentiment up with foam tape after cutting it down with my paper trimmer.

I adhered everything to a A2 card base and that finishes this card.  I had so much fun creating for this challenge.  I will be back soon with another Blog Post.

Coffee is Always A Good Idea

Hello everyone.  I have a coffee card for the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I hopped yesterday and Jessical Lynn Original had a free digi called Xmas Flowers so I decided to download it and use it for a Fall card.  It's a really beautiful digital stamp and Jessica is always so kind to gift a free digi.

I started out printing my images on white paper 100 pound.  I googled a Fall floral bouquet image.  I love google.  It showed me a pretty orange and purple bouquet.  I love purple.  I used a mix of copic markers and Ohuhu to color my image.  Next, I fussy cut my image out.  I cut some pattern paper that's Fall and embossed from a older 12x12 paper pack from Michaels.  I cut it to be shorter than A2 size 4 x 5 1/4.  I found some gingham paper in my stash I believe it's from MFT Stamps.  I cut a strip and glued them to a kraft A2 card base.

I stamped a sentiment from Journals For Life But First Coffee Stamp set using Catherine Pooler Sangria ink.  I cut my sentiment using my mini paper trimmer.  I popped up my image with Therm O Wen foam tape and glued my sentiment to my card with liquid glue.  I embellished my card with some card bling from A Colorful Life Designs and that finishes my Fall card.  I can't wait to use this digi for a Christmas Card now.

Thank you 💗

Pumpkin spice Coffee Card

Hello everyone.  I have a Fall card to share that I made for the Coffee Lovers Fall Winter Blog Hop.

I first printed this cute mouse and coffee digital image from Sweet November Stamps called Hit Coffee Mouse on white cardstock.  I believe it was a freebie on World Cardmaking Day but I missed it so I purchased it.  I loved it so much.  I I colored it in with my copic markers and drew a ground and ink blended the background with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink.  I stamped a pumpkin on my togo cup and colored it with my copic markers. I then stamped a sentiment from Catherine Pooler Stamp called Fall Calls for Lattes.

I cut out my mouse and coffee with a scalloped rectangle die.  I then grabbed some more cardstock and stamped it with a MFT Stamps Background Stamp Burlap with Catherine Pooler Apricot ink.  I cut my cardstock with a double stitched rectangle die.  I tied some orange hemp twine and made a bow.  I glued my scalloped rectangle onto it.  Everything was glued to a A2 card base.  I added some sequins to match and white gel accents with a gelly roll pen.  I hope you like my card.  It was so fun to make and I made this into a Christmas Card which I will share later.

Fall Thanksgiving Quokka Card

Hi everyone.  I have a video tutorial today over on the Kat Scrappiness YouTube Channel.  I made a Fall card and I used a New Stencil from The New Fall Release.

You can watch my video here:

For my card, I started out with some heavy weight yellow A2 cardstock.  I used distress inks for my background with the New Layered Pumpkin Spice Stencil. I used Tea Dye Distress ink, Vintage Photo Distress ink, Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink, Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink, Peeled Paint Distress ink, and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink. This stencil has 3 layers and for the 3rd layer I chose to apply some Blue Shabby Glitter Mousse for my coffee mugs.  I think it looks pretty and I love the glitter.

I then stamped a Quokka  and accessories from the Everyday Quokka Stamp and die set.  I colored them in simply with my alcohol markers.  I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment on some vellum from my stash.  I applied my Quokka, scarf, and pumpkin and glued everything to my Pumpkin spice background.  I glued my panel to a A2 card base and added some Aww-tumn Sequins Remixed.  I hope you like my Fall Thanksgiving Card.  I had so much fun making it.
