Encouraging Words Card

Hello everyone.  I have my last card for the year for A Colorful Life Designs.  I chose to use Dream Words Stencil again and Mosaic Love Stencil.  I love these 2 stencils.

I really love this as a Friends card.  The Dream Words 6x6 Stencil has more words than this.  These are the ones I loved for this card.  I first on pink paper 110 pound inked the Mosaic Love Stencil 6x6 with black ink.  I love it for a background.  Next, on white paper 11o pound I inked the words in black ink.  I cut my words to be a rectangle panel.

I then cut my Mosaic Love background to be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and glued it to a kraft A2 card base.  I popped up my words rectangle panel with foam tape.  I then glued some sequins to match.  I love how it came out.  Those words are meaningful and happy to me. I think they are encouraging for a Friend.  Do you have a your word for the New Year? I need to think of mine.  I will be back with the New A Colorful Life Designs January Release.  Happy Holidays.

Christmas Tags and A Matching Christmas Card

Hello everyone.  I have some cute tags and a card today.  I used 2 stencils that aren't new but are new to me from A Colorful Life Designs.  This month we are showcasing some stencils that are older in the store and need some love for December and I picked Up Down Triangles and Make A tag.

It was so much fun to make these tags and card.  I used a 6x6 stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Up Down triangles.  On white and kraft paper 110 pound I inked the stencil with Parsley dye ink from Concord & 9th.

I used a tag die from Spellbinders Advent Calendar 2023 to make my tags.  I then added some twine and card bling.

On the back of my tags is where I used the Make A tag stencil that is 3x6 in size.  I inked it with parsley and Cranberry ink from Concord & 9th.  I love how they came out and so easy to batch for your Holiday projects.  I'm always in need of tags in my home.

I had to make a matching card.  I layered my card panel onto a green card base that is A2 size.  I used a sentiment strip from my stash by Taylored Expressions.  I adhered it with a foam strip.  I added some card bling and that finishes my card and tags.  I love how these tags and card came together.

Snowman Hot Cocoa

Hello everyone.  I cannot believe Christmas is around the corner.  I was hoping to get some more Christmas Crafting in before Christmas.  We will see... Anywhoo I have fun Holiday card that I made for the current Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Coffee + Snowman #24.

I had so much fun making this card.  I had this cute Snowman Mug SVG file for awhile and I'm so glad I could use it for this Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge.  I first cut all my pieces from my Silhouette Design Library using my Silhouette Cameo 3 machine.  I used mostly, white, red, black, kraft, orange, and pink cardstock.  I did ink blend the kraft cardstock for the hands, coffee, and gingerbread with Ground Espresso Distress ink.

I glued my snowman Hot Cocoa together using liquid glue.  I used my white and black gel pens for accents and details. I also used a red copic marker for some shading. I used pattern paper from my stash I believe this one came from Joanns.  I love that it was double sided and that I liked both patterns for this card.  I cut my pieces using my paper trimmer.

I added some coarse white glitter to my marshmallows and candy cane and glued everything to a pink A2 card base.  I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from Jaded Blossom White Christmas Stamp and then cut it to fit my card.  I didn't feel like I needed embellishments for this card.  I hope you like it.

Thank you for taking a look!

Hi everyone.  I have another Holiday card to share using BYSHC Sketch 40.  It's such a fun sketch I hope you join us and link your card to the FB group in the Sketch 40 Album.

On my card using Sketch 40 I used pattern paper and colored cardstock.  I cut and measured according to the sketch.  I chose some pink, Red, white, and green as my color combo. I used a retired die set from Spellbinders.  I cut and put everything together using liquid glue.  I also used a red Copic marker for my candy canes.

I also found a ephemera sentiment and poinsettia in my stash.  I glued everything to a A2 card base.  I hope you like it.  I hope you give this sketch a try you could win a prize.  Here are more details on the BYSHC Blog.  You have until December 31.

Folk Christmas Holiday Card

Hello everyone!  I have a Holiday card using 2 Stencils called Folk Christmas Stencil and Pulled In Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.  Use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

Here is the first card I made.  I used Bristol cardstock and ink blended it with Cracked pistachio Distress Oxide ink.  I placed the Pulled In Stencil and ink blended it with Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey ink. I love the subtle design it gives to my background.  I then used the Folk Christmas Stencil and inked it up with Lawn fawn Crunchy Leaf ink.  Next, I then splattered my card with Gold paint and water with a paint brush using Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Paints.

I cut out my background with a A2 stitched Rectangle die.  I glued my panel to a A2 card base and glued a Pinkfresh Studio gold foiled sentiment from my stash.  Lastly, I added some gold sequins.  I hope you like my card.  It was fun to make and I actually think it looks prettier in person.  I will have another card to share using Folk Christmas stencil coming soon.

Holiday Tags

Hi everyone.  Happy December!  A Colorful Life Designs doesn't have a New release this month but there is a exciting one for January 2024.  This month we got to choose stencils from our wishlist so I have some tags to share today.  It's also my Birthday today yay.  Don't forget to use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

Here are some Holiday Tags I created using the Christmas Trio Stencil which has become a favorite of mine.

On this tag, I used a Unity Stamp Co. Tag die set. I used the smaller tag die and a reinforcer for all my tags.  I cut my tag die out with white cardstock.  I used Catherine Pooler peppermint Scrub dye ink for the poinsettia flower.  I used Catherine Pooler Sauna Dye ink for the center and Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey dye ink for the greenery.  I then used Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink to ink blend around my image.  I used a Tim Holtz Ideology sticker sentiment strip and red gems to decorate.  I then ink blended the hole reinforcer to match and tied some twine.  I did cut out another tag to layer to make my tag stronger.

This stencil is so great that it has different images perfect for your projects or tags like I used it for.  I ink blended this tag with Catherine Pooler Juniper Mist dye ink with Lost Shadow Distress ink for the ornament.  On the greenery, I used Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey ink.  I ink blended it around my image again with lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink.  I like the Vintage feel of these tags.  I used another sticker sentiment and gems and twine to match.

And here is my last tag.  I cut out another tag and on this one I ink blended this Holly using Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey ink and Catherine Pooler Peppermint Scrub for the berries. Some more Crunchy Leaf ink, a sentiment, gems, and twine.  Super easy and elegant.  I hope you like my tags.
