Inspired By...Donuts

Hello everyone. I have a card today for the New Inspired by...Challenge #IB393.  This weeks theme is Donuts. So fun right? I love the inspiration photo and Card Sketch.

Let's Get Started:

I was inspired by the theme Donuts, Colors, and Card sketch. I first used a 6x9 stencil called Wild Rings Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and ink blended it on a A2 panel white cardstock. I used inks Catherine Pooler Sugared Lavender, Hero Arts Peony, and Hero Arts Creamsicle. This stencil design reminds me of donuts.  Next, I stamped 3 donut images from Doodlebug Design Treat Yourself stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored with my copic markers using colors that would match the Inspiration photo. I used the coordinating die to cut the donuts out and then cut 3 squares of purple cardstock 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 in size.

I glued all to a A2 top folding card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink on white cardstock and fussy cut it out. I adhered it with foam tape and then added some flower enamel embellishments and that finishes me card.

Now it's your turn!

Every Thursday starts a New Challenge. How are you inspired? You can enter using the Theme, Card Sketch, or Both. Share in our FB group too.

Without further ado here is my cards.

On my first card, I used Mama Elephant Gingerbread Cookies stamp set.  I stamped these cute cookies on Neenah Solar White 110 pounds with memento tuxedo ink and then colored them with my copic markers. I then cut the cookies as squares like the sketch.  I also used The Crafty Stamp Co. for the cute pattern paper that was cut 4 1/4 x 51/2. Everything was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

On my 2nd card, I used Oh What Fun Kit from Doodlebug Design.  I recently won this kit and the cuteness is 100% love it.  The panel of pattern paper that I used is from a different Doodlebug Design paper pad but I felt it matched well.  I cut squares of the ginger pattern paper from the Oh what fun kit and added Ins and Outs die-cut pieces and then added a sticker from the kit. Everything was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I had so much fun creating these cards.

I can't wait to see how you are inspired. If you are chosen a winner your card will be shared and you may take a badge for your blog or craft resume.

Hedgehog Hugs Digital Kit By LV Hancrafted

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to share this cute card that I made. I used Linh's @LV Handcrafted New EZ Cardmaking Kit called Hedgehog Hugs.  It's so adorable and I couldn't resist this kit! Use my code VonMarie10 to save over at LV Handcrafted

Without further ado here is my card.

Can't get any cuter than a Hedgehog and coffee??  This kit is digital and really easy to use.  I downloaded the kit and printed the pages I wanted to use.  This kit works well with the Not 2 Shabby and LV Handcrafted EZ Wonder Die #1 and the Ultimate Sentiments Universal Die.  I used the EZ Wonder Die #1 and lined it up with the printable.  So easy to line up.  I also used a low sticky tape to hold my die and printable together before running it through my die cutting machine.

The sweater print is so much fun and I couldn't resist adding as much as I could on this card.  The EZ Wonder Die cuts out the square and circle and I inlaid the circle in with foam tape.  I ink blended my pink cardstock with some Pinkfresh Studio passion Fruit dye ink. The EZ Wonder Die also cuts out strips, it's so wonderful to make a quick card. I love this die.  Of course you can cut everything out with shape and nesting dies and also your paper trimmer.  Scissors work too. If you are thinking about getting the EZ Wonder Dies I would grab them here

I cut out brown cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 for my mat layer. I also cut out so many sentiments from the kit and I loved using these 2 sentiments on my card today with the Ultimate Sentiments Universal Die. I added foam strips to the back before adhering everything to a pink top folding heavy weight A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Lastly, I added some heart enamel stickers from Doodlebug Design.  I had so much fun making this card and I plan to be sharing some more cards soon.  I hope you grab this kit or other printables from LV Handcrafted. Oh and don't forget to use my code VonMarie10.

Inspired By...Cookies

Hello everyone. I have a card today for our New Inspired By... Challenge #IB359  Cookies is our theme and we have a fun sketch for you too.  Don't forget to tag inspired_by_challenge on the socials. #inspiredbychallenges

Without further ado here is my card...

Here is how I was inspired-by the inspiration photo up above. I really wanted a stamp set with Halloween cookies or cupcakes and I didn't own any of those unfortunately. I did have some Halloween stickers from Doodlebug Design and a Bake It Merry baking die set from The Greetery.  I cut out the cookies in white cardstock and ink blended them in black and orange and left some white like the inspiration photo.  I cut out some pattern paper like the cupcake wrappers from the photo.

I cut out my baking tray with gray and vellum cardstock.  I also ink blended a rolling pin.  My sentiment comes from Kat Scrappiness Simple Sentiments Holiday Edition that I had in my stash and cut out with the coordinating die that cuts tons of sentiments at one time.  I popped up my sentiment and added some Halloween House Sprinkles also from Kat Scrappiness and glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how it came out.
I hope I inspired you to look through your stash and create something for this challenge.

How About Some Cute Patriotic Pups Cards For Today?

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to share my cards using the Patriotic Pups Ephemera Die-Cuts from Not 2 Shabby. These Red, White, and Blue cards are so festive and fun. I think they came out so cute.    Without further ado here's my cards.

Aren't They Cute??

Here was the first card I made and I used Not 2 Shabby Ladybugs Hugs 6x6 Paper Pack for the red polka dot pattern paper.  I also used of course this pup from the Patriotic Pups Ephemera.  I downloaded some free Patriotic Sentiments also from Not 2 Shabby.  The other ephemera and pattern paper is from Doodlegbug Design.  I used the Say Cheese Again die from Lawn Fawn for the polaroid that I cut out with white cardstock.  I popped up the polaroid and ephemera with foam and everything else was glued with liquid glue on a A2 blue card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I used some Firecrackers Buttons and More embellishments.  That finishes this card.

On this card, I used more of the red polka dot paper from Ladybug Hugs, Ephemera from Doodlebug, Ephemera from Not 2 Shabby, Sentiment from Not 2 Shabby, striped pattern paper from my stash, and a white die-cut from the EZ Wonder die #1 by LV Handcrafted.  I also added some embellishments.  Everything was glued to a blue A2 card. That finishes this card.

This square card might be my favorite I love the Doodlebug hat ephemera on this pup and firework. Another cute sentiment.  This is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card.  I popped up the hat with foam tape.  I did use some more red polka dot paper and embellishments.  I glued everything to a coordinating card base. That finishes this card.

My last card uses a lot of the same products.  I did use some other pattern paper from my stash and if you look closely I do have some more of that red polka dot paper.  So save your scraps to have your cards all have a little bit of the same pattern paper on all. Everything was glued to a A2 blue card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

And here is another look.  Did you have a favorite? I love how all my cards turned out.  They were easy and I think they are cute.  Just exactly what I wanted to spread some smiles across the miles as I mail these out to some crafty friends.  I hope I inspired you to make some Patriotic cards and or to use some ephemera and grab these pups I think they are on sale and I have a lot left over and that makes this paper hoarder so happy or I would buy another because they are so cute.
