You're In Luck

Hello everyone.  I am back with another card using A Colorful Life Designs.  Have you checked out the Newest Release?  I love the Sassy stencils and there is Geo Stencils too.  Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchases.

On this card, I used the New Pikes Stencil.  I think it's really pretty.  I started out with white cardstock and ink blended the Pikes Stencil with Catherine Pooler Mardi Gras and Catherine Pooler All That Jazz inks.  I love how it looks.  I then cut my background to 4 x 5 1/4.

I cut out a retired Origami Crane die from Spellbinders with colored and white cardstock. I love this die I use to make paper cranes all the time in elementary school. I then inlaid the pieces and glued it to my panel.  I glued my panel to a kraft A2 card base and added a sentiment strip with a foam strip.  Lastly, I added some sequins.  I hope you like. my card.  I love how it came out.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

Bear Hugs

Hello everyone.  I'm excited to share a Bear Card with you today on this sunny Wednesday.  Rubberstamps.com sent me a cute stamp to work with.  This stamp set is called A Little Bear Hug Love.

I think this bear is so CUTE.  I stamped and heat embossed the bear and speech bubble on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with Versafine Onyx ink and Hero Arts Clear embossing powder.  I colored it with my Copic and Ohuhu Markers.  I then fussy cut them both out.

I cut out a Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die with white cardstock that I ran through my Anna Griffith Empress Electric Machine.  I ink blended a retired Spellbinders Sunburst Stencil with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink.  I also cut out some grass with green cardstock that I ink blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.  I used a copic marker to add some grass lines for interest.  Next, I cut out a retired rainbow die from Simon Says Stamp with white cardstock.  I colored it in with my Prismacolor Colored pencils.

To assemble my card, I glued my wonky stitched rectangle to a A2 110lb. card base with liquid glue.  I glued my grass and stamped some hearts from the same stamp set with black ink on my ink blended sunburst background.  I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment onto the bears heart.  So cute.  I then  adhered my bear and rainbow with foam tape to my card.  I glued my speech bubble and glued sequins all using liquid glue. I added a few white gel accents on the purple and pink heart I love how this card came out.  I hope you like it.

Thank you so much Rubberstamps.com 💖

So Yeah, I'm Pretty Busy

Hello everyone.  Have you been enjoying the fun snarky cards I have been posting?  The New Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs are so great!! I have another one for you today.  Make sure and use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

I just love this sentiment from the New Snarky Coffee Stencil.  It cracks me up.  I started out with kraft cardstock.  I chose to ink blend the Coffee Beans Stencil with Catherine Pooler Over Coffee ink using a blending brush.  I then decided to use the Latte Vibes Stencil with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink and a blending brush.  I then cut my cardstock to be 4 x 5 1/4.

Next, I used Fabriano Hot Press watercolor paper 140lb.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Mica Crayons Pearl set in Holly Branch, Winterberry, and Snow Flurries.  I colored which was fun with a little bit of water and when it dried I cut out this coffee cup from Pretty Pink Posh.  I used a brown watercolor marker for the coffee portion on my coffee cup.  I also cut out some hands using a hands die from a retired Ellen Hutson die.  I colored the hands with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink.  I trimmed them before glueing them to my cup.

I then stenciled this funny sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink using a small blending brush.  I glued my coffee cup with hands to my panel and glued it to a white A2 card base.  I glued some card bling and that finishes my card.  I hope you like my card.  It was really fun to make.  You can see the newest release here.

I Can't People Today

Hello everyone.  I have another Sassy card for you today using A Colorful Life Designs Newest Release.  Sassy is great isn't it?  I love to laugh.  I always say laughter is the best medicine.  Also don't forget to use my code VonFan10 to save 10% can be used on anything but the already discounted Master Creative bundles at A Colorful Life Designs.

Do you have some days like this?  That's okay if you do. Even if your just being Sarcastic.  I'm like this some times.   I used the Fun New Not Adulting Stencil and Turntable stencil.  I had a lot of fun with these new stencils.  I first started out with a mustard colored cardstock panel almost A2 size from my stash.  I then ink blended the Turntable stencil using pixie spray before laying it on my cardstock.  I ink blended with Catherine pooler Suede Shoes dye ink.  I then cut my panel a little more to be a tad smaller than A2 size.

It's nice to stencil a sentiment and it will match perfectly too.  I used the fun Not Adulting stencil with this cute sentiment and the same Catherine Pooler Suede Shoes ink on white cardstock. I cut my sentime nt to fit.  I then glued my panel and sentiment to a A2 kraft card base.  This cute image was gifted to me from Stamping Bella, it's the smaller image from the set.  My crafty friend knew I loved it so she gifted it to me💖. I stamped her on white cardstock with black ink and colored her to match using my alcohol markers.  I used a oval die to cut her out and added her to my card with foam tape.  Lastly, I embellished with some sequins from Doodles Paper Playground.

Thank you for visiting my blog today ☺

Caffeinated Christmas card for April 2024

Hello everyone. Happy April. There is a April Challenge for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge that will run from April 1st-April 25th.  I have a Caffeinated card for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps as they are a sponsor for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge this month yay.  You can win a 25 GC to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.  So Amazing! Use hashtag #cccc28

On my card, I used Holiday Cheer Stamp, I like Big Cups Stamp, and the Grunge Dots Stencil.  I first started out stamping the coffee cup on white cardstock.  I colored it in with my Copic Markers.  I had already had the candy canes image colored and cut out from a previous project.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Versafine Black Onynx ink and Clear embossing powder from the Holiday Cheer onto white cardstock.

I cut my cardstock to be 4 x 5 1/4. I grabbed a sheet of foam and cut it to fit the back of my panel before glueing it to my A2 card base.  I like the depth and it's easier to use a sheet than a bunch of foam tape strips sometimes. I glued my cup and candy canes to my card. I then ink blended the edges around my card with green tea ink from Catherine Pooler. My card felt plain, so I grabbed the Grunge Dots Stencil and ink blended it with Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus ink over my already green ink blending.  I then flicked some white paint splatters over my card with a paint brush, water using Picket Fence Distress Spray.  Lastly, I added some embellishments.  I hope you like my card.  I can't wait to see your cards for the challenge.

Supplies:

I Like Big Cups Stamp
