BYSHC Sketch 41 Holiday Card

Hello everyone.  I have a Holiday card using the Sketch 41 by BYSHC.  It's a fun sketch and a good way to get some Holiday Cards started and finished before the Holiday Season.

Sketch 41

For my card I chose to do portrait style.  You can do that also for this sketch.  This cute image was given to me already stamped.  I colored it with my copic markers and fussy cut it out.  I cut out some circles using circle dies with red and white cardsock.  I cut out some Christmas pattern paper from my stash and cut it accordingly to the sketch.

I glued everything to a green A2 card base with liquid glue and that finishes my card.  I hope you like it and I hope you like working with sketches.  You still have time to get your card uploaded in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers FB album to win a prize.  Angie Blom Digital Designs is giving away 2 $15 e-gift certificates in Canadian currency for sketch 41.  Plus her kits are 40% off right now.

Big Love Valentine Card

Hello everyone.  I have a Valentine card to share today using a New Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Big Love.  Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

I love this stencil.  Big Love is perfect for all occasions not just for Valentine's Day.  I first started out with watercolor paper.  I painted my paper purple using a Altenew paint pan set.  I used a purple paint pan and I painted it a few layers until I liked the look.  I then placed the Big Love Stencil over my background and I painted with a Yellow, pink, blue, and purple watercolor paint pans.  I went over it with lots of layers.  Some paints bled through but I still liked my results.

When my background was dry I cut it to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 A2 size.  I stamped a sentiment from the Oodles Stamp set in black ink onto my panel as well as some hearts from the same stamp set.  Next, I glued my panel to a Pink A2 card base and glued some yellow clay embellishments to match.  I hope you like my card.  This is a great stencil to have in your stash and I hope you grab it.

This was a really easy card to make. You can use these stencils together, a hand with either the stars or hearts, or individually.  Either way it will be pretty.  That's what I love about this set.  I chose to make s circle shaped card.  I first started out with white cardstock and ink blended the stars with Peacock Feathers Distress ink.  I then ink blended the hearts with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.  For the hand I ink blended with Tea Dye Distress ink.  I love that you can make different skin tones for the hand.

Next, I cut my background out with a circle die from Trinity Stamps.  I stamped a sentiment with black ink on my card panel.  I then cut out 2 pink heavy weight circles and made it a card base using my score board.  I then glued my background panel to my card base.  Lastly, I glued some iridescent sequins.  I hope you like my card.  Hello everyone.  I'm back with another card using a New Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs New January Release.  Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchases.

I used the New Jagged Love Stencil.  It's really a pretty stencil.  I chose to use Black watercolor paper.  I painted through my stencil with Starry Colors paint from Gansai Tambi. I also ink blended a little Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink.

After my background was dry.  I cut it to be 4 x 5 1/4.  I then glued it to a matte gold paper that was A2 size.  I glued it to a white A2 card base.  I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment in gold embossing powder on black cardstock.  The sentiment is from a older STAMPtember Collab. with Pinkfresh Studio and Simon Says Stamp. It says "Some People Just Make Life Better" and that's you! I glued it with some foam tape to my card. Next,  I embellished with some Pinkfresh Studio Metallic Champagne pearls.  I hope you like my card.  I had so much fun making it.  A Colorful Life Designs now offers Card Bling, check it out here
