Fall Is In The Air

Hello I have a card today and the theme is Fall and Apples.  I will be linking my card for 2 challenges.  Without further ado, here is my card.

On my card, I used Jaded Blossom Fall Dies for the apples and Bushel Basket.  I used colored cardstock in red, green, kraft, and cream colors. I also used white cardstock. I ink blended the basket with Walnut Stain Distress ink.  I also used Crushed Olive Distress ink and Festive Berries Distress ink for shading on the apples. I then used some squeezed lemonade on my white cardstock leaves.

On a white cardstock panel 110 pounds I stamped a sentiment from Catherine Pooler Fall Calls For Lattes Stamp Set with black ink.  I then cut out some wood colored pattern paper to match the sketch from Inspired by...apples challenge.

I glued everything to a green A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I loved making this card, I love the apples theme, the colors, and sketch. I even cut up an apple and drank some Cinnamon Apple Chamomile tea afterwards. Hopefully, I inspired you to try one of these challenges or both.

Here are the Challenges I will be linking my card to:

50th Anniversary Of JAWS Celebrating With Whimsy Stamps

Hello everyone.  I have a Card and Treat Bag today.  It's a little different as it's the 50th Anniversary of JAWS.  Here at Whimsy Stamps we are celebrating the JAWS Anniversary and you can find our projects on instagram and in our FB group.  Without further ado here is what I made.

I first started out with my card.  I downloaded this cute shark called Shawn Shark by Crissy Armstrong on Hammermill cardstock 100 pounds.  Isn't it cute?? I colored it in with my Copic Markers N5, N3, N0, W5, and T5.  I added some pink cheeks with pink chalk. I then fussy cut it out with a white border.  I ink blended white cardstock 110 pounds with the It's Cloudy 6x9 Stencil and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.  I rotated the stencil a few times.  Next, I ink blended the water with salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink and then ink blended the sand with Antique Linen Distress oxide ink.  My favorite sky water sand combo.  I then used the swirls 6x9 stencil with Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink picking a few swirls to ink onto my water.  Fun right? I used E33, and E30 Copics for dotted sand.  I cut out my background with the largest scalloped oval from the Spring Ovals Die Set.

I flicked some white Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain onto my oval background.  I cut out a A2 white panel 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and glued my oval to it when it was dry and then to a gray heavy weight A2 card base.  I stamped a sentiment from the Don't Peek Yetti Stamp set with black ink on a white strip.  I popped up my shark and sentiment with foam tape.  I added white gel pen accents and embellishments from This Calls For Confetti in Mermaizing.  Yay!

We picked up a gummy sharks candy bag and I thought well I have to make a treat bag to go with my card right? LOL. So I ink blended another oval and scored it.  I have some food bags and I placed a few sharks in there I had to eat 1 along the way of course.  I didn't use stencils and I did make this digital shark image smaller.  I stapled my scored oval onto my plastic treat bag using a Tim Holtz tiny attacher.  I popped up the shark and added embellishments.  That finishes this project.

I hope you like it!  It was so much fun. Now I'm singing Baby Shark 🦈😄 Happy Anniversary JAWS.

I Still Pick You Using Broken lines Stencil From A Colorful Life Designs

Hello everyone.  I have a card today using a Beautiful stencil from A Colorful Life Designs that I believe can be used for any Occasion.  Use VonFan10 to save.  Without further ado here's my card.

I love this Broken Lines 6x6 Stencil.  It's
from the April 2025 Release and I had to have it.  I did think of bamboo when I seen it but I decided not to do that this time for this card.  So, on white cardstock I used a Victorian Velvet Distress ink cube.  I cut out Spellbinders Sealed Twine die with Rose Gold Metallic Glossy cardstock from Simon Says Stamp.  I then cut out Spellbinders Sealed Blooms die with white cardstock and inked it with the same distress ink.  I colored in the leaves with my G0.1 OLO marker.  My background was cut to 4 x 5 1/4.

I have some wax seals ready to go using some metal wax stamps and wax.  I thought this heart was cute.  I glued everything to a gray A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  My sentiment was stamped from MFT Stamps Little Love Notes and cut out with MFT Stamps Sentiment Strips dies.  I popped my sentiment up with a foam strip.  I added some pretty card bling to match in Crystal Metallic Rose.  It's really pretty.  I hope you grab this stencil and use my codeVonFan10 to save. ☺

Spring Fling Challenge For Lawn Fawnatics 191

Hello I'm excited to participate in a Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Spring Fling #191.  I used a lot of fun Lawn Fawn products for this card.

I thought it would be fun to used the Spring Critter Huggers Die Set.  I hadn't ever used this set and I purchased it when it was released. I know I have missed out.  I was so happy to use it yay.  I decided to make a brown bunny so I cut out the main outline bunny in brown paper 85 pounds.  I then cut out the cheeks, ears, tummy, and nose in pink paper 110 pounds.  Next, I cut out the mouth and eyes in black paper 110 pounds and later the feet in matching paper as the bunny.  The tail was cut out with white paper 110 pounds.

I used the die for the bunny whiskers and placed that die on my bunny and ran it through my die cutting machine.  I then glued everything to my bunny.  I wanted my bunny to hold something so I stamped some tulips from the Eggstra Special Easter stamp set with Memento tuxedo ink.  I colored them in with my OLO markers and Copic Markers. I then cut the tulips out with the coordinating dies.

I used the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables die to cut out some Flower Market pattern paper in the purple for my background.  I used some green paper 85 pounds with the Meadow Backdrop Landscape die to give me some grass for my bunny.  I cut out a bow from the Put A Bow On It die set using the smaller bow in pink paper.

I glued everything to a pink A2 110 pound card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I used a white gel pen for some accents on my bunny.  I also inked my bunny along the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink and a blending brush.

Here is the inside,  I masked my sentiment from the Celebrations Scripty Sentiments Stamp that I stamped with black ink on another scalloped rectangle stackable die that I cut out with white paper 110 pounds.  I hope you like my card I had so much fun making it.

Christmas Card Using Whimsy Stamps

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to be participating in a Whimsy Stamps and Ranger Ink Christmas Hop on Instagram today.  It's so much fun.

I had so much fun making this card.  I started out with some watercolor paper.  I started spraying it with different Ranger products such as Distress Spritz Sprays in Peacock Feathers, Hickory Smoke, and Uncharted Mariner.  I would dry my background with my heat tool in between sprays.  I also used Distress Ranger Spray stain Picket Fence and Distress Mica Stain in Winter Frost.

I added in some Distress Paint in Speckled Egg that I flickered onto my background.  I believe the last spray Stain I used is in Salvaged Patina.  I stamped the Postmarks Background Rubber Stamp with Versafine Onyx ink onto my background using a stamping platform.

I then used from Whimsy Stamps Merry Christmas Around The World Stamp.  I love the critters image so I stamped it with black ink on Hammermill paper 100 pound.  I colored them in with my alcohol markers.  I cut out my critters out with Whimsy Stamps stitched rectangle die from the Mix and Match Scallops Die.  I also cut out my background with the largest scalloped rectangle die from that set.  I love how sparkly my background looks.

I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the Christmas Around The World Stamp using white ink and white embossing powder on black paper.  I fussy cut part of the sentiment and chose to used the Large Merry word  die with matching colored blue paper.  I cut it out 3 times.  I popped up my critters with foam tape and part of my sentiment.  Everything else was glued to a white A2 card base.  I used some Lost Shadow Distress ink with a tiny blending tool from Ranger and inked up my stitched rectangle that has my critters on it.  Snowflakes were also stamped with the same ink from the Christmas Around The World Stamp.  I love how this card came out.  Visit the hop foor losts of inspiration.

Holiday Shaker card

Hello I've got a shaker card today making another fun Holiday Card. I used a New Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called 3 Sizes Too Small.

I think this stencil 3 Sizes Too Small is so much fun.  I love the sentiment and the hearts included too.  I chose to make a infinity shaker card.  I first ink blended the stencil on white paper 110 pound with mowed Lawn Distress ink and Lumberjack Plaid Distress ink.  I masked to ink blend the sentiment with both ink colors using masking tape.  I also ink blended additional hearts and a heart in the center of the grinches hands.  I cut my background to be 4 x 5 1/4 and glued it to a green A2 card panel.

Next, I grabbed a A2 card sleeve and used a tape runner to make it as tight as I could on the ends.  I placed some green and clear card bling in the sleeve and used my tape runner to seal it shut.  I then glued my shaker to a A2 card base.  I think this card is fun and was quick to make.  Great for batching cards for the Holidays as they will be here soon.  Visit A Colorful Life Designs here
