Holiday card using Sketch 40

Hi everyone.  I have another Holiday card to share using BYSHC Sketch 40.  It's such a fun sketch I hope you join us and link your card to the FB group in the Sketch 40 Album.

On my card using Sketch 40 I used pattern paper and colored cardstock.  I cut and measured according to the sketch.  I chose some pink, Red, white, and green as my color combo. I used a retired die set from Spellbinders.  I cut and put everything together using liquid glue.  I also used a red Copic marker for my candy canes.

I also found a ephemera sentiment and poinsettia in my stash.  I glued everything to a A2 card base.  I hope you like it.  I hope you give this sketch a try you could win a prize.  Here are more details on the BYSHC Blog.  You have until December 31.

Thank you for taking a look!

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone.  I have another Santa card today.  I love Santa.  I used a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs previous Release called Pulled in along with Spread Love Stamp Set.  Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

I used a A2 stitched rectangle white cardstock panel and ink blended the Pulled in Stencil with Catherine Pooler Peppermint Scrub ink and a little bit of Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey ink for the center.  I stamped a sentiment from the Spread Love Stamp set with Black ink directly onto my panel.

I stamped a Santa from the Spread Love Stamp Set and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut.  I colored it in with my Ohuhu Markers and added some white gel accents with my white gel pen.  I glued my panel to a A2 card base and glued my Santa.  Lastly, I added some black embellishments.  I hope you like my card.  I think this is a really neat stencil to have in your stash. It just pulls you in.

A Birthday Turtle Card and a Santa Card for Day 6

Hello everyone.  I have been having so much fun with my Advent Calendars from Unity Stamp Co. and Spellbinders.  Last Year I only git a chance to do Unity Stamp Co. because I found out about Spellbinders too late and so I made sure to order really early this year.

So for Day 6 I created 2 cards using the Rubber Sentiment from Unity Stamp Co. and the Birthday Turtle with Balloons from Spellbinders.

On my Day 6 using Spellbinders,  I die cut all the dies with greens, red, pink, black, and white card stock.  I love all the these cute pieces you get.  I didn't own a Birthday Turtle or a turtle at all so I was very excited for this one. The Advent Calendar is such a great investment if you ask me. After I put my turtle together.  I cut it out again and layered it so that it was a nice and sturdy die cut.  I then ink blended it a little with Lawn Fawn Clover green ink.  I think the party hat is so cute.

I found some Birthday pattern paper in my stash and cut it to be A2 size.  I glued everything to a A2 pink car base.  I added a bow from Day 1 and word sentiments from Day 2.  I think its cute.  What do you think?

Here is my second card using Day 6 Unity Stamp Co.  I first on a white card stock strip I stamped the Tree and Santa from Unity Stamps Advent Calendar 2022 with Memento Black ink.  I stamped the New Day 6 Sentiment on another piece of cardstock with red ink and then cut it down.  I colored the tTee, Santa, and background with my Copic Markers.  I then glued my sentiment next to the Santa.  I added some white gel accents to my colored images and background.

Next, I used the Merry Christmas Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. (Use VonFan10) to save 10% off your purchases.  I inked it up with Lawn Fawn Clover green ink and cut my background 4 x 5 1/4.  I glued everything to a white A2 card base.  I added some red liquid drops and that finishes my card.  I hope you like both cards using the Advent Calendars.  Like I said I'm having so much fun!

Thank you for taking a look!

Folk Christmas Holiday Card

Hello everyone!  I have a Holiday card using 2 Stencils called Folk Christmas Stencil and Pulled In Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.  Use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

Here is the first card I made.  I used Bristol cardstock and ink blended it with Cracked pistachio Distress Oxide ink.  I placed the Pulled In Stencil and ink blended it with Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey ink. I love the subtle design it gives to my background.  I then used the Folk Christmas Stencil and inked it up with Lawn fawn Crunchy Leaf ink.  Next, I then splattered my card with Gold paint and water with a paint brush using Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Paints.

I cut out my background with a A2 stitched Rectangle die.  I glued my panel to a A2 card base and glued a Pinkfresh Studio gold foiled sentiment from my stash.  Lastly, I added some gold sequins.  I hope you like my card.  It was fun to make and I actually think it looks prettier in person.  I will have another card to share using Folk Christmas stencil coming soon.

Thank you for stopping by!

Holiday Tags

Hi everyone.  Happy December!  A Colorful Life Designs doesn't have a New release this month but there is a exciting one for January 2024.  This month we got to choose stencils from our wishlist so I have some tags to share today.  It's also my Birthday today yay.  Don't forget to use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

Here are some Holiday Tags I created using the Christmas Trio Stencil which has become a favorite of mine.

On this tag, I used a Unity Stamp Co. Tag die set. I used the smaller tag die and a reinforcer for all my tags.  I cut my tag die out with white cardstock.  I used Catherine Pooler peppermint Scrub dye ink for the poinsettia flower.  I used Catherine Pooler Sauna Dye ink for the center and Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey dye ink for the greenery.  I then used Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink to ink blend around my image.  I used a Tim Holtz Ideology sticker sentiment strip and red gems to decorate.  I then ink blended the hole reinforcer to match and tied some twine.  I did cut out another tag to layer to make my tag stronger.

This stencil is so great that it has different images perfect for your projects or tags like I used it for.  I ink blended this tag with Catherine Pooler Juniper Mist dye ink with Lost Shadow Distress ink for the ornament.  On the greenery, I used Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey ink.  I ink blended it around my image again with lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink.  I like the Vintage feel of these tags.  I used another sticker sentiment and gems and twine to match.

And here is my last tag.  I cut out another tag and on this one I ink blended this Holly using Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey ink and Catherine Pooler Peppermint Scrub for the berries. Some more Crunchy Leaf ink, a sentiment, gems, and twine.  Super easy and elegant.  I hope you like my tags.
