Spring Card Using Savannah Girl

Hello and Happy Spring.  I have a card today using Savannah Girl from Unity Stamp Co. who is a Angie Girl by Angie Blom. I fell in love with this set when I saw it.  I might have shouted out loud.  And of course I hurried and made a card with it when I received it.

I first stamped and heat embossed Savannah Girl rubber stamp on x-press blending cardstock using Versafine ink and clear embossing powder.  I then colored her in using my alcohol markers.  Next, I cut my paper using my paper trimmer.  I then ink blended with some blue ink left on my blending brush from a previous project.

I then used a notebook edge die from MFT Stamps.  I also used a foiled plate background from my stash.  This one is from Aly Syberia called Glowing Geometry using black foil on white cardstock.  The floral pattern paper is from Catherine Pooler that I cut to use as a layer.  The Clouds die is retired from MFT Stamps called Petite Clouds that I cut out with white cardstock.

Lastly, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Savannah Girl stamp using Versamark and white embossing powder on blue cardstock.  I fussy cut around it to fit better.  Next, I glued my foiled background to a A2 card base.  I also glued my floral pattern paper from Catherine Pooler's A Little Drizzle Paper Pad.  I popped up Savannah with foam tape and I popped up 2 clouds with foam tape.  My sentiment was also popped up with foam tape.  Everything was glued with liquid glue.  I love how my card came out, it was a lot of fun.

Christmas in July Linky Party Day 2

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for the BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party and today is Day 2.  We have some Amazing Sponsors and this is a great way to get your Christmas Cards done early.  Please use graphic on all your projects.  Projects must be Holiday Themed, Winter, Yuletide, Hanukkah ETC.  Use hashtag #christmasinjuly2024byshclp

I chose to use Sponsors Unity Stamp Co. and Therm O Web.

I started out foiling my Therm O Web Slimline Toner Card Front Revers Polka with Thermowebs Color Harmony Transfer Foil in Crimson Shattered Glass.  I used my Heidi Swapp Minc Machine to achieve my results.  I had so much fun and I made a few extras for future projects.  Therm O web is Amazing.  I love how my background looks.

Next, I stamped Sponsors Unity Stamp Co. Comfort To Go Red Rubber Stamp onto white cardstock using Catherine Pooler Samba ink.  I then used Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. for the Scallops and Rectangle dies to cut my coffee out.  I then layered my rectangle onto black cardstock.  I stamped a sentiment with black ink and cut it out to be a fishtail banner.  I cut my foiled background to be 4 x 5 1/4.  I glued everything to a A2 kraft card base.  I used Sponsor Therm O Web for the big roll of foam tape to place on the back of my sentiment before adhering to my card.  Lastly, I glued some red sequins.

I hope you can join us this week.  Linky Party ends July 26.

Sunflower Scroll

Hi everyone.  It's September which means A Colorful Life Designs has a brand New Release today. I have a video today you can watch here using the New Sunflower Scroll Stencil.

Lots of New Stencils and a New Stamp Set. So super exciting.  Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

Master Creator Bundle

This is such a beautiful stencil and I love Sunflowers.  I used  the New Sunflower Scroll Stencil and ink blended Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink on black cardstock.  I used Ground Espresso Distress ink for the centers of the sunflowers.  I did ink blend with a heavy hand because I chose black cardstock.

I also used Prismacolor Pencils in the nooks and crannies and I love how my card came out using this stencil.  I used pencils in 916, 945, and 938.  Next, I cut my cardstock with a Tim Holtz deckle torn trimmer and made my panel squared.  I then  glued it to a card base.  I glued a foiled sentiment strip premade from my stash from Ellen Hutson.  I then added some gold confetti sprinkles.  I hope you like my card.  Check out the New Release here.
