GIU Growing In Unity Day 2 The Simple Pleasures

Hello everyone.  Happy Tuesday I'm so excited for my 2nd day as GIU Girl for Unity Stamps Co.  I have another fun card for you today.  Make sure and leave comments here, IG, and, in the Unity Stamps Co. FB group Growing in Unity for a chance to win a $20 credit. There will be 2 Lucky Winners at the end of the week and I will be posting it in the Unity Stamp Co. Groups.

For this card, I used Haven Girl she is a Angie Girl Yay.  I also used the sentiment from this set. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and colored her in with my Polychromos Colored Pencils, Gamsol Mineral Spirits, and a Blending Stump.  I then cut her out with my paper trimmer.

I did some stitching using my sewing machine and paired my image with my sentiment tag and pattern paper from Unity Stamp Co. They are so sweet to send extras with their packages. Love that. I also used yellow paper from my stash and grabbed some paper roses from embellishments drawer.  Everything was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I had fun making this card, I hope you like it.  See you on Day 3!💗

Inspired By...Sweaters

Hello everyone.  We have a New fun Challenge for the Inspired By... Challenge. This week it's sweaters.  We have a New Sketch too.  If you are New to this challenge, every week there is a New Inspiration Photo and Sketch.  Don't forget to tag inspired_by_challenge on the socials. #inspiredbychallenges

Without further ado here is my card...

I love sweaters, so I was excited for this theme this week and I love the sketch. I actually had a few sweater crafts in my stash but I chose this die set by retired company Neat and Tangled.  They were so great I miss their products.  So I cut out the stitched sweater die with a white colored felt from MFT Stamps not sure if they have felt still but I have a few colors of felt from them. I stitched for fun. I'm a novice at stitching but it was fun to still do it.  It can be a Ugly Sweater but cute ugly sweater.  I stitched and glued this gingerbread to the sweater.

Next I cut out strips of pattern paper from Not 2 Shabby Shop It's Gingie Time Paper Pad 6x6.  My sentiment is from Creative Worship Stamps Sweater Weather stamp set that I stamped in black ink and cut it out with my paper trimmer.  Everything was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I hope you'll join us this week it's so much fun.  If you win your card is announced on the socials and you can get a badge for your blog.
