Inspired By...Christmas Trees and A New Card Sketch

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for the New Inspired by...Christmas Trees Challenge and Card Sketch. Inspired by...Challenges run for about a week and every week we have a New Theme and New Card Sketch. So much fun! Don't forget to tag inspired_by_challenge on the socials. #inspiredbychallenges

Without further ado here is my card.

This weeks card I used the card Sketch and Theme.  I'm really loving the blue Christmas Tree and pattern papers from Not 2 Shabby Shop.  I used the Frosted and Fabulous Ephemera and Paper pack.

I also used a sentiment from Mama Elephant.  I thought it was a great sentiment for this theme.  I cut 3 different strips of pattern paper and glued to another pattern paper 4 x 5 1/4.  All was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I had so much fun making this card I will be back with Next weeks Theme Challenge.

I hope you join this weeks challenge.  It's really fun if you win your card gets posted and you can receive a badge for your blog.

It's Okay To Take A Break

Hello I have a card today for the Inspired By...Desktop Challenge IB349.  I love the colors and sketch this week.  I chose to use a stamp and die that's been in my stash for centuries lol.  Well you get it it's been awhile and I needed to finally use this set from Mama Elephant.  Without further ado here is my card.

On my card I used Mama Elephant It's Okay Stamp and Coordinating die set. I stamped all my images on Neenah Solar White 110 pounds with Memento Tuxedo ink.  I then colored everything in with my Copic Markers.  I was going for pastels like the Challenge photo.  I then cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

I cut out a white cardstock panel 4 x 5 1/4 and started designing where I wanted my images. I laid them down a few different times.  I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp and removed my images so they didn't get ink on them.

Next, I glued my images according to the sketch and then glued my card panel to a gray A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I think it came out so cute and I love the white space as that is usually hard for me.  If you know me, I usually grab pattern papers or stencils for my backgrounds.  I hope I inspired you to try this challenge, try something new, or maybe take a break.  It's definitely okay. Hugs. 💗

Ice Cream And Friends Make Everything Better Using The Mixed Shapes Stencil

Hello everyone.  I have a fun card using a previously release stencil from A Colorful Life Designs March Release. This stencil called Mixed Shapes I thought was so much fun and had to have it.  Use my code VonFan10 to save.  Without further ado here's my card.

I love this fun Stencil Mixed shapes 6x6.  I chose to make it bright and colorful.  I started out with white cardstock.  I used the stencil inking diagonally with Hero Arts Reactive Hero Hues Splash, Taffy, Lemon Drop inks.  I then cut my background to be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I used a fun Mama Elephant collab with Ellen Hutson stamp and die set called Ice Cream Stand.  I stamped my images with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with my alcohol markers.  I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set and cut it with my paper trimmer.  I glued everything to a bright pink A2 card base.  I embellished my card using some Satin Matte Yellow card bling from A Colorful Life Designs.  I think you need this stencil and don't forget to use my code.  I love this cute card.

Hello From Me To You

Hello everyone.  I have a card to share today using A Colorful Life Designs August 2024 Release.  It's a pretty great Release if you ask me.  Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

I chose to use my Color Cube Volume 2 for the New Big and Little Lines Stencil. I used card 308 Coral, Chocolate, Tangerine, Peach, Blue Gray, and Dark Teal.  So I used, Concord and 9th ink cubes in Sorbet, Wheat, marmalade, and Grapefruit.  I also used Catherine Pooler Stone Blue ink.  I love how it came out.  I cut out my background with a rectangle die A2 size.

I then used a Mama Elephant Slim Film City Die. I inked the city in the colors I used for my background.  I stamped a sentiment from Mama Elephant's Urban City Stamp set in black ink and stamped it onto my city die-cut.  I popped up my buildings with foam tape to my background and then glued everything to a A2 card base.  I then drew in some white dots with my white gel pen and added some sequins.  I had so much fun making this card.  Shop the New Release Here
