Let it Snow Holiday Card

Hello everyone.  I have a Holiday Card today that I literally whipped up for the current sketch 48 by Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers.  I love this sketch so much and I used a lot of my scrap Christmas pattern papers for the strips.

I started out with some pattern papers from an older paper pack in my stash called Holly Jolly 6x6. I used a 1/4 inch strips die from the Stamp Market to cut out my strips as well as some red cardstock.  I had fun glueing them to 4 x 5 1/4 white piece of cardstock.  I also cut out a A2 panel with the same pattern paper pack.

I used a circle die from Waffle Flower to cut out some more pattern paper using the sketch details.  I then used some ephemera from Simple Stories Winter Cottage for the globe and sentiment.  I glued everything to a green A2 heavy weight card base. I love how easy this card was and it was fun too.   There is still a few days to participate, you can find more details here We also have a sponsor every month too.

Another Holiday Card for BYSHC Sketch 48

Hello everyone.  I'm back with another Holiday card for BYSHC Sketch 48.  I really love this sketch and this card might be my favorite for a Masculine card.  We have Unity Stamp Co. as our sponsor and you can win a GC.  Isn't that great?

I used my Kat Scrappiness A2 strips Dies in 2 different sizes and used some Joanns Holiday Pattern paper from my stash.  I had fun gluing my strips in onto my rectangle pattern papers.  I think it's relaxing, repeating steps like these strips.

I glued everything to a A2 card base and I used a Ephemera circle die-cut from Joanns also.  I cut the excess off my circle die-cut to match the sketch. Easy Peasy. I love that this card seems more masculine to me.  I hope you join our challenge.  It's so much fun.

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting.

I splattered my panel with some Dylusions Funky Fuchsia.  Somewhat subtle but I like how it came out.  I stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp XL Greetings with black ink on white cardstock.  I cut it out with the coordinating die.  I glued everything to a A2 card base and embellished with some really pretty card bling from A Colorful Life Designs.  I suggest you check the Card Bling Section too.  I hope you grab this Beautiful stencil at a fantastic price.  Shop here.

Random Triangles Christmas Trees Holiday Card

Hello everyone.  It's good to be back.  I went on a Mini Vacation with my family which was much needed for this Summer. We had a lot of fun.  I have a Holiday card to share.  I used the New Random Triangles Stencil 6x6 from A Colorful Life Designs New release. Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

When I seen this stencil it reminded me of trees.  Christmas Trees.  I love to create Holiday cards so I did ink blend this stencil upside down so that it looked like lots of trees.  I used white cardstock and placed my Random Triangles stencil down to ink it in Catherine Pooler Skylight ink.  I then cut my background to be 4 x 5 1/4.

Next, I cut out a scalloped circle with white cardstock from Kat Scrappiness.  I stamped a tree image from Unity Stamp Co. with the stamp set called Let Heaven and Nature Sing using the same green ink.  I also stamped a sentiment with Catherine Pooler Spruce ink from the same stamp set on white cardstock.  I then cut it with my Tim Holtz mini paper trimmer and added foam tape to the back.  I then glued everything to a A2 kraft card base.  I cut some of my scalloped circle that was hanging off my card.  I embellished with some green gems from Pinkfresh studio called Emerald.  That finishes my card it was a lot of fun.  Visit The New Release here

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto yellow cardstock with black ink and clear embossing powder.  I fussy cut my sentiment.  I glued everything to a A2 card base and popped up my sentiment with foam tape.  I embellished my card with some yellow card bling from A Colorful Life Designs.  I think it came out cute.  Shop The New Release Here

Hello everyone.  Happy August!! There is a New Sketch for BYSHC and this Sketch 48 is so much fun.  I loved working with it and I know you will too.  We have a sponsor so I hope you can participate

I started out by using some pattern paper from Joanns and a stitched strips die from Kat Scrappiness.  I used 2 different pattern papers and die cut many strips using the die.  I glued them to a piece of white cardstock measured at 4 x 5.25.  I cut off the excess of the strips and when I was finished glueing.  I glued this panel to a piece of pattern paper measured 4.25 x 5.5 just like the sketch.

I cut out a Eliza snowflake die from Simon says Stamp with Holographic cardstock from Erin Lee Creative  I glued it to my card and stamped a sentient with Blue Hawaii from Hero arts using a Simon Says Stamp Warmest Wishes stamp set on white cardstock.  I cut my sentiment using my paper trimmer to glue on my snowflake. I placed my snowflake so that some was hanging off and then I cut the excess off just like the sketch shows.  Everything was glued to a A2 card base.  I love how it came out. You can read more about the sketch here
