Color Throwdown Challenge-Guest For October.

Hello everyone.  Happy October Yay!  I'm so excited to be a Guest Featured Stamper for the Color Throwdown Challenge.  The colors are Green, Red, and Orange.  so much fun.  I have to say colors are so much fun to work with.

Without further ado here is my card for the Challenge...

I chose to use one of my Simon Says Stamp Monthly Kits.  This one is called Butterfly Blossoms.  I stamped the flowers and butterflies on off white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo ink.  I used the coordinating stencils to ink blend using the Colors from the Color Throwdown Challenge.

I ink blended with Simon Says Stamp Lucky ink, Catherine Pooler Apricot ink, and Gina K Designs Red Velvet ink.  I then fussy cut everything out leaving a border using my scissors.

Next, I tore some cardstock green and vellum.  I cut out a red A2 heavy weight card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I then cut some pattern paper from the kit using Paper Rose Studio in Best Butterflies.  The paper was cut to 4 x 5 1/4.  I also cut out a sentiment from the pattern paper and glued it to some red cardstock.  I glued everything to my red card base and I popped up my flowers and butterflies with foam tape.  Lastly, I added some enamel dots from the Altenew Warm and Cozy set.

Well that finishes my card, I had so much fun making this card.  This was truly an Honor and exciting moment to be a Featured Guest Stamper for the Color Throwdown Challenge.  Thank you so much to the team and especially Susie.

I hope you join the challenge! Hugs💗

Coffee Date With My Crafty Friend Shelly YAY!

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to have a Coffee date with my Amazing and talented Crafty Friend Shelly  We are on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog today for our Coffee Date. I love Coffee so much and I was trilled when she invited me.  My favorite coffee right now is Pumpkin spice Latte Hot or Iced. What's Your Favorite?  We chose to work with the same stamp from Crafty Stamp Co. called A Day Without.

Without further ado, here is my card.

Here is a little bit of my creating process.  I stamped these cute kitty images from A Day Without stamp set from the Crafty Stamp Co. on Neenah Solar White cardstock 110 pounds with a Hero Arts Ombre Pink to Red ink pad. My panel is 4 x 5 1/4.  On another panel, I stamped the same kitty and heat embossed it with Versafine Onyx ink and clear embossing powder.  I colored the image with my Copic Markers RV04, RV06, R21, E99, E47, W2, W3, W4, and W5.

I did some stenciling on the white areas using a stencil from Kat Scrappiness called Brew-tiful Beans.  I ink blended with Lawn Fawn Doe ink. I tried ink blending the stencil very carefully.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the same stamp set on black cardstock with Versamark ink and white embossing powder.  I then fussy cut around the sentiment using my scissors.  I also glued my panel to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Before I glued it,  I used a paw print die (I think it's from MFT Stamps) and cut it out with pink cardstock and attached it to some black/white twine.  I tucked it behind the card panel with craft foam. I then glued and sandwitched everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I also stamped and heat embossed another sentiment onto the kitty's big cup image before adhering it with foam tape.

I love how the Paw Print dangles. I added some white gel pen accents using my Gelly Roll pen.

My sentiment was adhered with foam squares.  I used some cute pink Pawprint sequins from Kat Scrappiness to finish my card. I also stamped my envelope flap to match my card.  So fun. I had so much fun making this card.  I also had so much fun on this Coffee Date with my Crafty Friend Shelly 💗💗🐱Yay!! I hope we can do this again sometime soon!!

Inspired By...Acorns challenge

Hello everyone.  Happy Thursday!  I'm so excited by this weeks Inspired By... Acorns Challenge #IB355.  The theme and sketch are so much fun.  This time the Acorns theme inspired me although I love the sketch too.  This challenge will run about a week so I hope you can join us, I can't wait to see what inspired you!

Without further ado, here is my card...

I love this cute retired stamp from Avery Elle called Aw Nuts. I liked this image because of the Big Acorn, Coffee, and I had never used it before. I know I waited a long time.  I love this challenge as it gets me to search my stash. So, I stamped this image on Hammermill cardstock 100 pounds with Memento Tuxedo ink.  I colored it in with my Altenew Alcohol Markers and then fussy cut it out.

I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto a green strip of pattern paper with Versafine Onyx ink. I cut out a white panel cardstock 4 x 5 1/4.  I also cut some green textured cardstock to mat my white panel onto.  Everything was glued to a A2 top folding card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 with Bearly Art Glue.  I love how this card came out. Usually white space is hard for me I almost ink blended around the image.  Yay for clean and simple (CAS).

I hope I inspired you to check out this challenge and if you win you'll get a badge for your blog and your card will be announced on the Inspired By Blog.  That's so great!

Another Card Using Adjoining Moons Stencil From A Colorful Life Designs

Hello everyone.  I have another card using the Adjoining Moons Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs New Release.  Use VonFan10 to save.  Also we have Master Creator Bundles no code needed and a Mid Month Motivation Stencil on Sale for $4.

Without further ado here is my card...

I love this stencil Adjoining Moons 6x6 Stencil.  It has 2 moons and 2 stars.  I didn't capture the stars on my last card so therefore another good reason to use this great stencil again for another card. On blue cardstock 110 pounds, I ink blended the moons with Hero Arts Shadow ink in Soft Pool. I ink blended the stars with hero Arts Butter Bar ink cube.  I then put the masks over my moons and stars included in the stencil.  I ink blended around my stars and moons with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink.

I then cut my background with a A2 stitched rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness Fall Frame die set.  My sentiment was stamped on white cardstock from a older MFT Stamp set called Sky High Friends using black ink and then I cut it to be a fishtail banner. I also stamped a bunny image with Memento tuxedo ink and colored it in with my Copic Markers.  I  then fussy cut it out.  I glued my background to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I popped up my bunny image and sentiment with foam tape. I then added some card bling from A Colorful Life Designs in Opaque Iridescent Lemon Yellow.  I love how this sweet card turned out.  I hope you grab it and don't forget my code up above.

Inspired By...Autumn Challenge

Hello there! Today, I have a card for the current Inspired By...Autumn Challenge #IB354.  I'm so super excited to be joining the Inspired By... Design Team Yay!! I love these challenges so much they really get me motivated. I invite you to play along, there is a fun color inspiration photo and a sketch.  Of course you can use both..and I can't wait to see how you are inspired!

Without further ado here is my card...

I was inspired by this sketch.  Isn't it fun?  I then decided to go with some Autumn Critters.  I first cut some white cardstock to be 4 x 5 1/4.  I then found this pretty printed vellum paper pack 5.8 x 8.2 that was gifted to me.  So I picked this pretty chevron print with gold that always makes me think of Autumn/Fall.  I cut these strips to 1 inch.  I then cut them in to 1 inch squares.  I knew I needed 12 according to the sketch.

I love this Lawn Fawn stamp called Jump For Joy, it's always so much fun.  I stamped my images on Hammermill cardstock 100 pounds with Memento Tuxedo ink.  I colored them in with my Altenew and Copic Markers. I also used some Catherine Pooler Over Coffee dye ink for the tree branches. I then fussy cut everything out.  I glued my squares to my panel and then rearranged my images.  I stamped a sentiment from the set with Versafine Onyx ink on a piece of white cardstock and then I cut a fishtail with my scissors.  My panel was then glued to a brown A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how this card came out!  I hope I inspired you to give the Inspired By...Autumn Challenge a try.

Another Card For Card Sketch 61 Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers

Hello everyone.  I have another Holiday Card today for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Sketch #61.  I absolutely love this sketch.  Crafty Stamp Co. is our sponsor this month and you can win a $25 GC. That's amazing.  Without further ado, here is my card...

I had so much fun making this card.  I used some pattern paper from a 12x12 paper pack.  I cut my papers according to the sketch.

I used a sticker green strip from Love From Lizi which was fun for this sketch since it requires a strip accent.  My banner has a written Christmas saying on it so I didn't need to add a sentiment.  I glued everything with liquid glue to a A2 card base.  I love this card perfect for a simple Holiday Card using this months sketch.  I hope you'll join us.  Just upload to our FB album.

Leaves Fall card... More days Like This

Hello I have a Leaves Fall card to share.  I was so inspired by the Inspired by...Leaves Challenge that I knew I had to join the challenge.

Without further ado here is my card.

On my card, I wanted to use the inspiration photo and sketch.  I started out with die-cutting leaves from a older Spellbinders die set called Autumn Leaves.  I used Mix Media Arches paper in 140 pounds.  I then inked my leaves around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and Rusty Hinge distress Oxide ink.  Next, I painted them with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors in Red Gold using a paint brush and water.

I then ran a older Spellbinders Falling Leaves embossing folder through my die cutting machine. My embossing folder was inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink on cream colored cardstock 110 pounds.  I cut out some brown heavy weight cardstock 110 pounds using my paper trimmer trying to mimic the sketch design.

I cut a printed sentiment out from a Unity Stamp Co. freebie using my paper trimmer. I made it a fishtail banner using my scissors.  I then glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  My embossed panel is 4 x 5 1/4.  I pinched my leaves before gluing them to my squares, I like this look.  I love how this card came out it was so fun and I just love Fall leaves, so thank you to Inspired by for this fun challenge.  I hope I inspired you to participate!  Hugs!!

Without further ado, here is my card.

I used the Cozy Cup A2 Card Fronts and let me tell you they are all so gorgeous!! You also get bonus sentiments in this pack.  So amazing!!
On this card front, I trimmed around the image just like it shows you, it has a deckled edge. I used scissors and fussy cut around it.  I knew I would pop it up.  I inked the negative background paper with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink so it could match.  I then cut out some fun foam smaller than my panel and glued it to the back.

I chose to use a Pear Blossom Press Shaker Pouch that I had from a previous Bundle purchasing The Ultimate Shaker Snow Globe. I chose to use the 2 " with some shaker bits from my stash. I also cut out a sentiment that's included with a circle die using The Ultimate Snow Globe Shaker Die Set.  The shaker fits perfectly with the sentiment.  It reads "My Coffee Is Strong And So Am I." I glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Lastly, I added some leaves from the Cute Halloween Coffee Ephemera and enamel dots from Pumpkin Spice.  I love how this card came out, I can't stop shaking it.  I hope you grab these amazing card fronts and others as this release like all the months is amazing.  I hope I inspired you to join our Mood Board Challenge.  I look forward to seeing what you create.
