Inspired By...Poolside #IB396

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for this weeks challenge at Inspired By...Blog.  This week it's Poolside Yay!!  There is also a fun Card sketch and and color inspiration. Make a project either inspired by the theme, sketch, or colors. You have less then a week to upload. New Challenge starts every Thursday Winners announced on Sundays.

Let's get started:

I was inspired by the theme Poolside.  I had a few different ideas but when I seen this ephemera from Simple Stories called Sunkissed I thought it was perfect and easy for this weeks challenge.  I used some Lawn Fawn Pattern Paper with the EZ Wonder Die 3 from Not 2 Shabby Shop.

I took my craft knife and made a slit in the floatie so I could slip the drink in there. Gotta stay hydrated let's hope there is caffeine in there. Oh and can't forget your SPF 50. I had so much fun making this card. All was glued with a tape runner to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

Now It's Your Turn!

Join Me on The Inspired By Blog Every Tuesday for details about my card and challenge.

Another Holiday Card for the BYSHC Sketch 45

Hello everyone.  I have another Holiday card for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers (BYSHC) Sketch 45.  You still have time to participate for May.  We have Newton's Nook Designs as a Sponsor. Jen has generously offered up a $20 gift code to her amazing shop for this month's prize!! And has also shared an exclusive code with us for the entire month of May!! Please use code BYSH to receive 15% OFF any products in the Christmas Category {includes the coordinating dies}. Woohoo! Head on over to Newton's Nook Designs and do some shopping!

Here is my Holiday Card using Sketch 45:

I used some Holiday Pattern Paper 12x12 from a older Michaels paper pack.  I cut my papers according to the sketch.

I also used some Christmas ephemera from Simple Stories from my stash to decorate my card.  I glued everything to a A2 card base and that finishes my card.  I hope you join us, it's really fun and a great way to get ahead on your Christmas card making.
