Inspired By...New Years Challenge And Sketch

Hello everyone.  Merry Christmas.  I hope you are having a wonderful Holiday. We have a New Inspired by..Challenge #IB368 and the theme is New Years and we have a new fun sketch too. Don't forget to tag inspired_by_challenge on the socials. #inspiredbychallenges

Well let's get started:

I thought this snowman digital stamp called Snowman Party from Sweet November Stamps was perfect for this challenge.  I was inspired by the colors, theme, and card sketch.  I had this snowman image printed already and so I colored him in with the theme photo colors in mind using my copic markers. I then fussy cut him out.

The numbers I cut out from Lawn Fawn Oliver's Stitched 123's die set.  I used textured black cardstock.  The embossing folder I used is Tim Holtz Numbered that I ran through my die-cutting machine with white cardstock.  My embossed panel was cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I then used a gold ink pad and glided it down my embossed numbers.  I glued everything to a A2 card base with my snowman popped up with foam tape.  My card design was designed with the card sketch in mind, so much fun. Voila my card is completed.

On my first card, I used Mama Elephant Gingerbread Cookies stamp set.  I stamped these cute cookies on Neenah Solar White 110 pounds with memento tuxedo ink and then colored them with my copic markers. I then cut the cookies as squares like the sketch.  I also used The Crafty Stamp Co. for the cute pattern paper that was cut 4 1/4 x 51/2. Everything was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

On my 2nd card, I used Oh What Fun Kit from Doodlebug Design.  I recently won this kit and the cuteness is 100% love it.  The panel of pattern paper that I used is from a different Doodlebug Design paper pad but I felt it matched well.  I cut squares of the ginger pattern paper from the Oh what fun kit and added Ins and Outs die-cut pieces and then added a sticker from the kit. Everything was glued to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I had so much fun creating these cards.

I love all the New products this month. Today on my card, I use the Paper Pad Love & Kisses and Valentine Critter Ephemera.  The pattern paper I used reminded me of a quilt.  I chose to cut strips and and also of the red paper.  Both are so pretty. I cut out a piece of paper A2 size 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and glued the strips diagonally onto my A2 panel.

I had a leftover stitched heart from my 1st project earlier this month you can watch the video here. So I used that heart for this card.  I also added this cute Raccoon and present ephemera from the Valentine Critters. The Raccoon is popped up with foam tape.  I stamped a sentiment with black ink on white cardstock from the Birthday stamp set called Say It With Birthday Style Stamp from the Stamp of the Month November. I then cut my sentiment strip and stapled it to some leftover red pattern paper.  I had so much fun making this card.  I hope you join us.  Just link it the the N2S Blog here for a chance to win a $15 GC.

Well for this weeks challenge, I was inspired by the trees, green snowflake, and sentiment sign in the photo. I love all the colors and I tried to capture a few.  I used The Stamp Market Winter's Wispy Trees and Concord & 9th in Honeysuckle, Sprout, and Oceanside. I stamped some trees and cut them out using a circle die from Pinkfresh Studio.

I used A Colorful Life Designs (use VonFan10 to save) Dotted Flakes 6x6 Stencil and ink blended on white cardstock for my background with Sprout ink. I really loved that bright snowflake in the inspiration photo.  I stamped my sentiment from Papertrey ink Just Sentiments: Snow stamp set.  I heat embossed with Versamark and Hero Arts clear embossing folder on a aqua colored cardstock.  I cut it out as well as my background that is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I glued everything to a A2 card base and added some Metallic Gold card bling also from a Colorful Life Designs.  I had so much fun with this card.

I hope you join us this week I would love to see how you are inspired.  Link it up to the Inspired By... blog and post in our FB group.  You have a little less then a week to participate.  Good Luck!!

Hedgehog Hugs Digital Kit By LV Hancrafted

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to share this cute card that I made. I used Linh's @LV Handcrafted New EZ Cardmaking Kit called Hedgehog Hugs.  It's so adorable and I couldn't resist this kit! Use my code VonMarie10 to save over at LV Handcrafted

Without further ado here is my card.

Can't get any cuter than a Hedgehog and coffee??  This kit is digital and really easy to use.  I downloaded the kit and printed the pages I wanted to use.  This kit works well with the Not 2 Shabby and LV Handcrafted EZ Wonder Die #1 and the Ultimate Sentiments Universal Die.  I used the EZ Wonder Die #1 and lined it up with the printable.  So easy to line up.  I also used a low sticky tape to hold my die and printable together before running it through my die cutting machine.

The sweater print is so much fun and I couldn't resist adding as much as I could on this card.  The EZ Wonder Die cuts out the square and circle and I inlaid the circle in with foam tape.  I ink blended my pink cardstock with some Pinkfresh Studio passion Fruit dye ink. The EZ Wonder Die also cuts out strips, it's so wonderful to make a quick card. I love this die.  Of course you can cut everything out with shape and nesting dies and also your paper trimmer.  Scissors work too. If you are thinking about getting the EZ Wonder Dies I would grab them here

I cut out brown cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 for my mat layer. I also cut out so many sentiments from the kit and I loved using these 2 sentiments on my card today with the Ultimate Sentiments Universal Die. I added foam strips to the back before adhering everything to a pink top folding heavy weight A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Lastly, I added some heart enamel stickers from Doodlebug Design.  I had so much fun making this card and I plan to be sharing some more cards soon.  I hope you grab this kit or other printables from LV Handcrafted. Oh and don't forget to use my code VonMarie10.

Inspired by...Gnomie

Hello everyone.  We have a New Inspired By...Challenge and this week it's Gnomie IB365.  We also have a New Card Sketch too.  I love sketches.  Don't forget to tag inspired_by_challenge on the socials. #inspiredbychallenges

Without further ado here is my card.

I was inspired by the theme Gnomie and Card Sketch.  I love Gnomes and my Mother in Law gifted me this fun Gnome die last year I believe.  It's a Momenta die set. I die cut it out of white cardstock and colored the in-lay pieces with my copic markers. I left a couple of pieces in the hat for fun maybe it's some mixed yarn like in real life hats sometimes.  LOL.  I chose to lay and glue the gnome down on white cardstock so it was easier to glue then inlay all the pieces.

I chose some Christmas Pattern papers from The Crafty Stamp Co. and cut my papers like the sketch.  I used a pre-made sentiment from Unity Stamp Co. I then glued everything to a. A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I had so much fun making this card and I hope you join us!

Merry Everything & Happy All The Days

Hello everyone.  I have a card today for A Colorful life Designs.  No New Release for December but I will be  sharing existing beautiful stencils available at A Colorful Life Designs. Use VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

Without further ado here is my card.

Today on my card, I used Scrollwork 6x9 Stencil.  Isn't it pretty? I chose to lay this stencil on white cardstock and use Hero Arts Ombre ink in Mint to Green using a blending brush.  I only inked diagonally on top and the bottom so that I could put my sentiment in a white space. After, I cut my background out with a stitched A2 rectangle die from LDRS.

The stamp and coordinating die sentiment is retired from Simon Says Stamp called Happy Everything.  I stamped the stamp with black ink and then used the coordinating die to cut it out.  I did pop it up with foam tape and then adhered to my card panel.  I then added some card bling in Satin Black Matte to match.  I glued everything to a gray A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I like how this card came out.  I will have another card to share later on using this same stencil. Check out A Colorful Life Designs.  I will be back soon with another blog post.  Check out my YouTube here for more inspiration.
