You Are Adored Gnome Girl Valentine's Card

Hello everyone.  Happy Friday, I have a sweet Valentine card today.  I have been wanting to participate in the Tawny Owl Paperie Card Sketch  This sketch is #29.

Isn't this Gnome Girl Digital Stamp Cute? This digital stamp is called Gnomie Love.  Crystal Minkler illustrated her.  I love it I think it's adorable.  I printed her out on white paper 100 pound and colored her with Copic markers and OLO Markers.  I then fussy cut her out.

Next, on the same paper I ink blended the Lawn Fawn Lots of Hearts Background Stencil.  I used Catherine Pooler inks in Sugared Lavender and Tutti Frutti.  I love Layering Stencils.  I cut my background according to the sketch and since I had some leftover stenciled background I chose to use it again because I loved it so much.  I cut out gray and a pinkish colored papers and cut them for my mats according to the sketch.

I stamped a sentiment from a Spellbinders Advent Calendar 2024 with black ink and cut it out with a Spellbinders banner die also from the same Advent Calendar.  Everything was glued to a A2 card base and my Gnome girl takes the place of a circle or shape.  Lastly, I added some white gel pen accents and some glitter with my glitter pen.  Would you like to grab this free gnome digi?  She's perfect for Valentine's Day.  You must join the Tawny Owl Paperie FB Group and find out the details on how to get this cute digital stamp.

Warm Wishes Another Card for the Current Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone.  Have you been enjoying the New Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Sketch 53 Challenge for January?  I think it's so much fun and a great one to keep on hand.

I chose to make a Winter Card for the Sketch. I used the Simon Says Stamp Warmest Wishes Stamp that is from a Card Kit from December of last year.  I used the Scandinavian Sweater.  I stamped it with Catherine Pooler DayDream and Aquatini dye inks on white paper 110 pound using my stamping platform.  I also stamped a sentiment from the stamp set.

I cut my stamped sweater according to the sketch as well as some pattern paper matching the dimensions.  Everything was glued to a A2 card base.  I really love how this card came out.  I hope you join us this month.  Not 2 Shabby is our sponsor this month for a $25 Gift Certificate. Sending Sunshine With Love

Hello everyone.  I have a card using the New Mid Month Motivation Fractured Beams stencil for January from A Colorful Life Designs.  This stencil is on sale and you can still use my code Von Fan10 to save even more.

I chose to make a Mini Slimline card.  I started out with white paper 110 pounds.  I ink blended the New Fractured Beams stencil with Lawn Fawn Sunflower ink and Pinkfresh studio Apricot ink.  I kept the negative circle mask in tact when I ink blended.  I think it's a fun color combo.  This stencil is 6x9 which is a nice size stencil.  I ink blended the circled portion with Bubblegum ink from Stephanie Bernard Colorbox ink.  I then cut out my background with a mini slimline die and the center with a circle die using Pinkfresh studio Mini Slimline Essential Bundle die set.

I also used the Shadowed With Love Stencil for the sentiment "With Love" that I inked with black ink over my circle die-cut.  I stamped a sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp kit with black ink on colored paper and cut it to be a fishtail banner.  I then glued my mini slimline background to a card base and popped up my sentiments with foam tape.  I added some card bling to finish my card.  I hope you like it.  This is my last card as a design team member as I chose to step down.  I have loved being on the team but it was time for a new change in my life.  I will be forever grateful to Mary Kay and I will continue to support her and her company as well as be a cheerleader to my crafty friends.  And of course I will be using my stencils for future projects.  I also hope you grab this stencil it's a beauty.

Stay Cozy Friend A New Card Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone.  Happy January and Happy New Year.  We have a New Sketch Card Challenge #53 for you.  This one is fun and you can pretty much do a lot with this sketch.  The possibilities are endless.

I love the New sketch for this month.  I decided to use my Simon Says Stamp Card Kit from December Warmest Wishes.  I used a embossing folder from the kit called Bundled Up with white paper 110 pounds. It came with a die to cut out some images and I used a few of those for my card.  I then cut it to size according to the sketch and colored the hats and mittens with colors that matched the pattern paper that I cut out using a Joanns paper pad.

I also cut out red paper 85 pounds according to the sketch.  I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set from the kit with matching ink to match and glued everything to a gray heavy weight top folding A2 card base.  I used a white gel pen to add some accents to my images.  I hope you'll join us and there is always a prize.  I can't wait to see your cards.
